We visited Grill Point in Marlboro, NJ, and every single dish blew us away. You can taste the freshness and quality in everything they serve. The falafel was some of the best we’ve ever had — perfectly crispy on the outside, light and flavorful inside. The eggplant salad was rich and smoky, while the Shepherd salad added the perfect refreshing balance.
The Sigara Börek came out golden and flaky, filled with warm, creamy cheese — absolutely delicious. The Egyptian Meat Roll was tender, seasoned perfectly, and full of depth. And the lamb and beef shawarma? Out of this world — juicy, perfectly spiced, and served hot off the grill.
Beyond the food, the staff and atmosphere were amazing — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell they love what they do. The whole place has a great energy that makes you feel right at home.

This is a family owned & operated GEM! We are always greeted w| a warm welcome. I’ve been coming here w| my family & friends for years & they never disappoint. The appetizers & food are so delicious, always fresh w| a nice variety for everyone. Their desserts are also excellent .. the homemade baklava & Dubai chocolate specifically. The service is perfect & the restaurant itself is always spotless clean! I highly recommend.

This is my seventh time coming to this restaurant and all I can say is WOW. The food consistently is amazing! The meats are tender, the rice is cooked to perfection, the desserts are out of this world as well. Highly recommend for a nice date night or easy night out.

I ordered a falafel sandwich for pickup about 10 minutes ahead, but when I arrived the order still wasn’t ready and I had to wait another 10 minutes. The food itself was okay, but the service felt very to-the-point and somewhat indifferent, like the staff didn’t really care much. Overall, it was an average experience—fine for a quick bite, but the service and wait time definitely need improvement.

You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion behind every dish. The flavors were outstanding — perfectly balanced and full of life. This place is unbelievably amazing. My Fiance and I come here all the time and anytime we have a gathering with friends we recommend this place and they absolutely fall in love with it too. They have delicious food, great service, and I love the ambiance. One of the best things about it is that it’s always consistent in both quality and quantity. AND the prices are great! The chicken shawarma is my favorite but I have tried almost everything on the menu and you honestly can’t go wrong with anything. Also, being middle eastern I have to say this is the closest thing to home I’ve ever had. Ten out of ten recommended, if you haven’t tried this place yet, you really should!

I came to visit from TN and found this place. I must say, I’m in love. I can start with the amazing Lamb chop or the mind blowing mix grill that they offer is amazing. The service feels like I’m over my family house for dinner. The owners are warm and friendly. I will be back as soon as I visit NJ again. Our family has been coming to this jewel of a place for years. The food is absolutely delicious and generous in portions. We always have left overs. Their bulgur is decadent and the seasoning on their meats satisfies any palate. The mix grill can easily be shared between two people. I love their salads, bread, dips. They also catered my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and everyone loved it.
The baklava-regular and pistachio are amazing. They have great desserts. Grill point will not disappoint you. Family owned and operated. They’re very friendly as well.

Came here for a friend’s birthday. Food was decent but we were charged $10 !! for 3 cups of hot water! Unbelievable! It wasn’t coffee or tea or I could understand the charge but hot water! We go to different restaurants and have never been charged for hot water. Guess we won’t be back.

This would be a valid point IF it were true! Nobody brought their own tea bags nor did we ask for lemon. If you wanted to charge us for hot water, you should have told us upfront! We would have gotten something besides hot water since we had to pay!!
