Nice, clean & spacious restaurant. Pancake was huge and average in taste. Bacon was tough and fries portion was minimal. Servers was not as attentive, had to walk up to pay because they took too long to bring the bill.

The hotel we stayed at in Shelby overnight did not include breakfast, so we were looking for a good place to eat before hitting the road for 8 hours.
Reviews indicated that “The Griddle” was a good place, so we tried it.
Lots of seating, service was friendly and the food came quickly. We though the prices were a tiny bit on the higher side…UNTIL we saw how much food they give you. OK, prices totally justified. Food was excellent, too!

The portions are HUGE. I could’ve shared my breakfast easily. Very tasty, hot and fresh. Coffee kept coming. Our waitress was kind, attentive and overall lovely.

Breakfast was decent. It reminded me of truck stop breakfast so perfect for a in and out. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food but a sign at the door stated prices have to go up due to rising costs. Bacon was delicious. Sausage gravy was too thick for my liking. Burrito (not on the menu) was one of the best I’ve had. Food was hot and fresh. Restaurant was clean.

Old style breakfast. Food was excellent, even came with a cup of coffee, no charge! It’s old and rustic but still has its charm and food is as good as grandmas cooking. (Mexican omelet)

Excellent place for breakfast!! Tammy walks faster than I can run while she buses around taking and dropping off orders! She’s quite the artist too with her homie sayings on the walls. Black boards in the washroom for guests to leave comments. Really enjoyed the griddle. !!

Great place for hungry souls. Visited here a week ago and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is, lots of space for seating, service was superb and food was plentiful and very good. Small town American eatery at its best. Walked away full and satisfied.

We stopped at the Griddle on our way through Montana. We ordered the patty melt with onion rings and the western burger with Mac & cheese bites. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! It was fairly busy, but our food came fast. I recommend catching a bite to eat here.

This place was a great little blessing to find! Only place open for breakfast in Shelby, and the food was delicious. The lady (sorry, I don’t remember names so well) was very nice and friendly!! I love small town cafes and diners! This place was perfect!!
