We drove all day, and the two bowls we ordered (aloha and southwest) were darn good! This really is elevated, that Huli Huli sauce was a perfect mix of sweet and a little spicy. The rice and quinoa mix gave the carbs to hold me over, and the chicken was grilled perfectly. They do not skimp on the portion of chicken either.
The southwest bowl was equally great, the seasoning on the chicken was awesome, the lettuce was a nice addition.
Deserts, I mean, who doesn’t like cheesecake and carrot cake? I scarfed down my carrot cake like someone was going to steal it, very good!
Now the rest of the non-food review:
Atmosphere is what I’d expect, sports on more TV’s than I can count, and all over every wall and in between the seating area. You can’t miss seeing the action.
Staff was friendly, attentive and helpful.
The wings come ON the side you order and I really don’t hate that. It’s something different and it gives that extra sauce a purpose. I got the buffalo wing basket with ranch potato chips. Was surprisingly good and the chips with the buffalo sauce were delicious!
Service was decent. Friendly and reasonably fast. Atmosphere was typical sports bar with games on and a good sports bar feel. Well lit and inviting. Would definitely eat here again.
Grill closed at 8:45, not a big deal, just pitting that out there. Solid place.
The current team feels inexperienced and disengaged, and the overall service has noticeably declined. The old staff knew us by name and they all made us feel at home.
Additionally, all their cocktails are sub par and they don’t even use real lime juice (nor do they have fresh limes on hand). Unless you want a simple beer – I wouldn’t recommend.
As long-time customers who’ve supported this establishment for years, it’s unfortunate to see it lose the charm and consistency that made it a true local favorite.
TV screens are literally everywhere so if you want to watch a sports game this would be the place.
Ordered BBQ wings and overall good with a good selection of tap beer. Bartender was nice, I overheard they recently changed ownership and will undergo some renovations.
