I was craving sushi so I picked the closest one to me that had decent reviews. I did not know this place has a happy hour where all rolls are $10! I got the Santa Monica sushi which has spicy California rolls in the inside and salmon and tuna on top. It was huge and yummy. The baked mussels were not fresh and had a very rubbery chewy texture. The miso soup was the perfect hot temperature and felt great to sip on. I would recommend coming during happy hour

Decent prices for quality sushi, ramen and various dishes. I like to go during lunchtime; special lunch promotions offer a great selection of items and as well as great portions. Friendly and attentive staff. Definitely give this restaurant a go!!

Went on a Thursday pretty empty. The decor inside is all over the place, handwritten menus all over the place too, could do with tidying up the way they present their menu. The sushi bar itself looked clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, the service was good too. Prices reflect their quality, so I would say fairly priced. Would go again.

The food was fresh and reasonable priced. We were there Saturday for lunch and they had “Happy Hour” deals giving 50% off a bunch of popular menu items. Usually I have only seen these offered mid week during slow times. They also had several rolls that don’t use rice which is great for keto. Service was quick and very good. This is a favorite of UCR students because they also provide a discount for students by showing their UCR id.

Hey friends the best ramen combo and happy hour deals are going on right now at Sushi R91 in Riverside. The first one is their combo sized ramen deal for $12.99. I opted for the tonkatsu ramen with everything on it and a crunch roll for the side. The special comes with your choice of Tonkatsu, shoyu, miso, or veggie ramen. Then you pair it with a side of rolls, tempura, or egg roll. You can also add a pint of beer for only 3 bucks. Now their happy hour is where the fun really begins. Enjoy the beer, soju, and sake for 50% off. Try the Undertaker! Made with Tequila, lime juice, mango puree, strawberry puree, and tapatio. Served with tajin rim. I’m a big salmon sushi fan so my top 3 rolls would have to be the salmon tataki, the sun shine, and the tsunami. Finish your meal right with the BTS. It’s a fried banana fritter, ice cream, fresh fruit, and sweet fruit sauce. Just one bite and you’ll be in dessert heaven.

We had such a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely exquisite, every dish was full of flavor and so beautifully prepared. The customer service was amazing as well; everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. And the best part is that the prices are very affordable for the quality you get. We had the worst service today. No greeting nothing straight to the order. This is only our 4th time here and we were trying to make it regular spot, but today that completely changed. Not only our waitress had no personality whatsoever, but she got a little attitude after we told her our glasses were cracked and dirty, obviously she didn’t check them. Then I had to get up a couple times to get napkins, forks, and things because she was just too busy. She didn’t even say goodbye to us when my wife said goodbye. Talk about entitled brat, and the worst part is that they included a tip which she definitely did not deserve because you just don’t treat clientele like that. She made us feel unwelcome. Not cool! This Is from somebody who has been in the restaurant industry for 15 years. I hope R91 shapes up and better train their staff. This happen in the bar area.
