We got the monger’s choice cheese board, the chicories salad, and the lamb. The cheese board was super creamy and delicious, the salad was bitter, bright and crunchy. The lamb was crazy tender and flavorful. Just all around a really great meal.
I ordered the Cheese Kitchen Martini which featured whey; essentially making it a dirty gin martini.

Excellent experience. The food was good, but the drinks and ambiance are what make this place great. The Fig Jam and Cheese Kitchen are excellent takes on an old fashioned and dirty martini, respectively. The cheeses are great and include both hard and soft cheeses. I really enjoyed the Prairie Tomme and Dirt Lover. The lamburger is good but not great. I appreciated that they have a Beaujolais on the menu, but the wine menu is otherwise quite limited. The service was excellent and the place is really cool on the inside. There’s also a rooftop lounge area that you can enjoy after dinner. There’s no bar up there but you can grab a drink at the bar downstairs and take it up with you.

Wow. Everything about this place is wonderful. The superb quality of ingredients is evident. The curated menu and use of local and in season ingredients to make spectacular combinations that balance each other is outstanding. The ambiance and service were the cherry on top. We had the cheese kitchen martini to start. Met all my briny tini dreams. Cheese and meat board next. Wonderful cheeses and accoutrements. The lamb tartar is unlike any tartar I’ve had. So fresh and seasoned well, served with a delicious herby sourdough crisp. Pork chop and roasted lamb also incredible. Don’t get me started on the cheese cake and affogato with sheep’s milk ice cream. Topped it all off with an amaro from the amaro cart on the roof top. Overall a wonderful and delicious experience.

Best way to sum this place up is just flavor. Very unwise, robust and delicious flavor with everything we had. The ambiance is also stunning. We struggled to choose our favorite dish between the sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Had the lamb burger for the entree and there wasn’t a negative comment at the table. Highly recommend for a relaxing evening with friends.

We spent the day in the city exploring- ( perfect as it was chilly)found this little hidden gem! Cozy, warm, earthy vibes. The atmosphere & food were amazing! We tried the famous cheese board! And tried the hot tea! We could have stayed all day with the vibes. Our server was amazing. We will be back soon! ❤️

Alllll the cheese. We got a mongers choice of 3 cheeses and it was the perfect appetizer. The plates are meant to split. The beets were amazing, as was the cheese croquets. The gin and tonic was just ok – I probably wouldn’t get it again. I did not love the delacotta squash. I would definitely come back here, though! Did was awesome

Servers greeted us in a very cheerful demeanor and were very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. It was our first time so everything was explained to us.
Food was great. Everything we had was very flavorful and and a lot of attention was paid to everything served.

Absolutely loved our visit here today! It was my boyfriend and I’s first time! We wanted to try something new so we decided on brunch here. All of the staff was incredibly welcoming. Being in hospitality myself, it’s always so nice to see team members being hyper aware of other patrons/tables that may need service, regardless on if it’s their table/responsibility or not. We grabbed a coffee while waiting for a table that the host was able to snag for us (rookie mistake on my end for not making a reservation!). We weren’t in any hurry and didn’t mind waiting! The coffee was tasty, food was amazing, and the atmosphere even better! Our server Grace was incredibly busy, but still incredibly kind. I commend her ability to remain calm under pressure! A nice man that I believe was the manager noticed that we needed service and grabbed our order and drinks. We finished with a cinnamon roll that was deliciously unique! We can’t wait to come back to try dinner sometime!

Our first experience dining at Green Dirt on Oak and I am definitely a fan! I really admire their concept of farm to table sustainability and locally sourced ingredients. To start, I really loved the atmosphere and this is a great date night vibe as well as somewhere to enjoy as a group. Service was very friendly and helpful as our server was kind enough to explain their concept and menu with this being our first time.
We knew we absolutely had to try the cheese croquettes. I would say they are quite good but I was not blown away. The root vegetables, however, I would say are a MUST. Very delicious.
For my entree, I had the Lamb Ragu and it gave me GOOSEBUMPS it was so good. Truly one of the best dishes I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend.
We would definitely dine here again! Compliments to the staff and chef.

Stopped in during cheese hour looking for a good cheese board. Not being a local, we had a really hard time figuring out what was going on. First, we were the only two people in the entire restaurant but couldn’t be greeted or guided upstairs (where cheese hour is supposedly held) for the life of us. We were just stared at, slow to be talked to/given instructions, and then slow to be served upstairs. The board states that it serves from 2-4 people but personally, the bread portion triumphs the meat and cheese selection and carries the board. But choking down eight thick slices of sourdough isn’t necessarily my forte. I was a little disappointed with the amount of cheese provided; I’ve been served a significantly larger amount of cheese in NYC for cheaper. There was an abundance of workers hanging around chatting in the seating area so it made the meal for my boyfriend and I a little weird. Overall, it was a fine experience but I won’t be coming back.
