It took a little to put in the order, but it was good to find something healthy in Madras. Dishes:
– The chicken strawberry salad was fine, but the bread a bit bland.
– The portobello burger was great, oozing with cheese, and the spinach was a good addition, though it should have been chopped more finely. The sweet potato fries were also done right: crispy but thick enough to be a little meaty.
– The tuna salad was not so good, as the tuna was very dry.
We were satisfied overall, and the food came within 5, 10, or 15 minutes, which was fine.
– The Black Forest ham sandwich and supreme ham panini were both good.
There were plenty of options on the menu.
The table and dining area were a bit dirty, as the servers were too busy to clean up (there were a couple but seemed stretched thin).
– The fruit tart was really good, sticky sweet and exactly what it should be.

Usually cook at home but Second time this week eating here!!! Delicious!! You get what you pay for, for sure. Everything is well portioned and filling. The inside has got a big upgrade and it looks and feels like no other place in madras. We got the Cuban sando and shrimp Alfredo and mixed berry cheesecake for desert. I definitely suggest eating here and its right in the middle of town so easily accessible from everywhere.

Amazing, give this restaurant a try if you’re in madras. Local ingredients, fresh made, even the bread for the burger was local made, rustic, crunchy perfect.

The burger was large, with bacon, brisket and avocado, the fresh cut fries were crispy golden with perfect salt and pepper. The Cuban sandwiches were delicious, lots of cheese and brisket for flavor.

The smoothie are made with fresh squeezed orange juice and not too sweet

Lots of comfortable seating. Easy for a group of nine and more.

Had high hopes and stopped in for some breakfast. Ordered the Sunrise Avocado Toast. At first I thought it looked great but realized, it wasn’t very good. Description on menu was: Thick sliced honey wheat toast, avocado, egg, bacon, and tomato. (No mention of sunflower seeds) The tomatoes were really good, egg was scrambled, avocado overripe, but they put a ton of sunflower seeds in it and it was WAY too much on the toast – they should mention this ingredient on the menu because I never would’ve ordered it. Also, bacon was the pre cooked Costco type and just meh. Toast was too soggy to enjoy. I ate all the tomatoes but that was it. Kinda yucky tbh.
The bakery items looked really good and the coffee was ok. I definitely would not order the avocado toast.

Update: I mentioned the issues to the staff and they were very polite. I picked out as few pastries to take home and fully intended to pay. They gave them to me gratis which was very kind. I tried a Bear claw and Marion berry scone. Both were excellent. I also got a croissant with strawberries and cream but haven’t tried it yet. But it looks gorgeous.

Had a panini sandwich, excellent sandwich well made with quality ingredients.
Can’t say enough about the pastries. High quality and delicious. If you are passing through Madras. Stop and grab anything, whatever you pick you should not be disappointed

Our family stopped for lunch on our way to Portland, OR. We ordered the Mango Shrimp, Chicken w/ strawberry salad, the portobello mushroom burger, the turkey and pesto panini and a raspberry scone.
All of the dishes were delicious!
The best part was the moist and tasty gluten free bread! I’d buy it by the loaf if I lived here.
Special thanks to the owner who allowed us to finish our meal after they had closed.

I love coming here, atmosphere is welcoming. Service is always great. The breakfast buffet on weekends is lovely with American and Latin options. Baked goods are always a hit. Also has fun board games to play if you’re just hanging out. Highly highly recommend

We were out mapping clean restrooms for PeePeeStop in Madras when we stumbled upon this location. What a VIBE! Large, spacious and Oh Our God! the baked items and our lunch was out of this world! We have made several return trips back to the area and they are a must stop for us.Plus their little home feel restrooms made the directory! Delicious, delicious, delicious!

Did I drive out of my way just to eat here? Yes. Was it absolutely worth it? Also yes. The sandwiches are so good and so fresh. I want to try more of their menu but it’s hard to branch out when I know how good the sandwiches are. Only wish it was closer to where I live!
