Granny’s in Cody seems to be the breakfast spot in town.
The pancakes taste fully homemade—just like you’d hope—and the breakfast burrito was excellent. Warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. It’s the kind of place where both locals and travelers gather, which says a lot. Expect a bit of a wait in the morning, but we lucked out with seats at the bar. The Coffee was also good. Would absolutely come back.

Summer (I believe that was her name…) was an amazing waitress. This was our 1st visit and it was amazing! The best cream of mushroom soup we have ever had!!! We got 2 bowls to go after we tasted mine.

This place was recommended by the hotel staff when we checked in, and it ended up being right across the street—super convenient. It has a cozy, family-style vibe and is a great spot for breakfast or brunch.
We actually ended up going twice during our stay because everything we tried was really good. We had an omelet, breakfast burrito, ham and cheese skillet, and pancakes with strawberries—no complaints, everything hit the spot!
Both times we were lucky to have Sherry as our server—she’s a super sweet older lady and was really attentive and kind.
Our bill was around $30 total each time, which felt like a great deal for the portions and quality. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Cody!

Chicken fried steak was perfectly seasoned, the eggs were cooked to order, and the pancakes are the best in Cody, WY possibly the best in the State. My only complaint is the hashbrowns were more crunchy than crispy I enjoyed my meal entirely and will return!

I want to start off with I love little sit down older restaurants. This restaurant’s atmosphere is cute (slightly crowded), and the service was kind, but the food was an utter disappointment. The food is very affordable and that was nice but there was no real effort placed into the food.
I really say this sincerely, the food appeared to be a taken out of a can and slightly dressed up for eating. The party I came with all ordered different things and it all appeared the same. I think the spot may be a better breakfast joint. The coffee was not good, however the salad bar was nice and a redeeming feature of the restaurant. I hope this criticism can productive for the food quality going forward. Thanks.

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning, and the service was great. There were four of us, and everyone except me really enjoyed their food. I ordered a veggie omelet with hash browns and toast, but the omelet and potatoes were very bland with no seasoning, so it wasn’t my favourite.

Last March their teriyaki chicken wings were delicious. I ordered them twice a day for two weeks. I would’ve rate them a nine I imagine I’ve had better wings but couldn’t remember when….
Today I ordered them and they were Awful.
Over breaded frozen chicken with a pure sugar sauce. In less than one year as far as I’m concerned, they went from a rating of nine to a rating of two.

Ended up here after falling for the Roster’s Cafe reviews and leaving. Glad we stopped in at Granny’s Restaurant. Service was fast and friendly, food was delicious and decently priced, and the coffee was outstanding. It’s clearly a restaurant owned by a local who cares about what they are providing to their town. By all means, stop in and give this place a try.

Let me tell you about Granny’s. Being on the road for a few days and eating whatever is convenient, I happened upon Granny’s Restaurant. I won’t bore you with the little things like cleanliness (great) or the atmosphere (very calming). No what I’ll rate it the roast beef commercial sandwich. Talk about home style cooking well I was about to ask the waitress if my mother was cooking for them. And yes I did sleep well that night. Check out Granny’s Restaurant and you’ll get a good night’s sleep, after a fantastic meal. I was there off season and it filled up quickly with local folks at dinner time. If the local people fill it up then you know how great it is.

The pancakes are phenomenal!!! As big as a dinner plate!!! Got the granny’s breakfast with an over medium eggs and sourdough bread bacon perfectly done … eggs are great… bread already butters perfectly done hash browns… a definite great place for breakfast.. busy setting, bustling atmosphere and waitresses are constantly refilling your coffee… they are a great group of galls with funny quips and informative for the area!
