I always come to this location for a breakfast taco I do not eat pork so it’s a must to get it specifically how I ask because the hash browns always overpower everything else…. My order is simple eggs, cheese, turkey bacon but for some reason they always add hash browns and I wfh I shouldn’t have to check my order that it’s correct when im only asking for 3 ingredients to be added in the tortilla I never complained bc I don’t understand something so simple so instead I’ll leave my review and never come back it’s only $9 but my goodness I have to eat a certain way for my health and this does nothing but make me waste MYYYY money to go buy something else bc again YOUR HASHBROWNS overpower everything else please learn how to slow down this is literally why I never tipped in the drive thru bc it’s wrong 9/10 yet I kept it pushing however no more I’m just taking my business elsewhere

Frank’s Grill, a Highway 6 gem, delivered a classic diner breakfast that hit the spot. My cousin, craving tradition, discovered this treasure. Fluffy waffles, crispy chicken wings, and perfectly cooked eggs arrived promptly, thanks to the friendly, attentive staff. Every bite was delicious, a testament to simple food done right. I ordered the 3 piece jumbo chicken wings. Great smell, appetizing appearance, but unfortunately they were undercooked. I really struggled to pull the whole wing apart. I mean it required serious hand strength. I thought I was going to have to get a power tool to separate the joints. Just kidding. Seriously though it was obvious that it was undercooked because of the force needed to separate the sections of the wing. Also, the blood was still reddish along the bone of one of the wings. Enough about the wings. Moving on to the grits. Great texture, good color, bland flavor even with the half pound of butter that topped the grits. Surely it had to be either unsalted butter, or not real butter because it didn’t add flavor at all. Fortunately there was salt on the table. That addition of salt definitely helped to make the grits more palatable. Finally, I ordered the Mocha Chocolate Frappuccino. I know my taste buds have been spoiled by Starbucks. So my opinion about Frank’s Mocha Chocolate Frappuccino would be unfair.

This is my second time coming here and service and food is great! Kathy our waitress was awesome and always making sure we were ok. We’re here in Houston visiting and had to come back again and going to come back again, again, again. Saw their shirts say “Franks Grill – Best breakfast in Texas!” And…I love ihop BUT Franks…ufff lol love it it’s fresh and you can see the cooks putting your food in the plates sooo can’t get any fresh and hot than that!
