I’m very disappointed. This is the second time I’ve ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats and had an issue. The first time, I received someone else’s order. Tonight, I ordered baked chicken, greens, macaroni and cheese, and yams. Instead, the greens were mixed with cabbage as one dish, which I do not eat. The macaroni and cheese was dried out and tasted old, and the baked chicken looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. After two bad experiences, I won’t be ordering again.

Had the pleasure of eating here today and I can say they are #1 compared to the local soul food places I’ve tried. They have a full southern menu. The staff were friendly and made you feel right at home. I got takeout but they have dine in seating. I got the backed chicken dinner with Mac and cheese, greens and cornbread dressing!! It came with 2 cornbread muffins, it was delicious parking can be a bit tricky due to it’s in a strip mall. They also take EBT hot meals program so if you ever in the area stop by at Granny’s you won’t be disappointed

The name is fitting for this place & the food is absolutely flavorful & incredible a review that was long overdue. As soon as you step in there’s a welcoming vibe & customer service is also very good. The food seems to transport you back in time & you might just smile as you remember the good memories the food can bring up. In my case, my grandmother who can cook very well but it’s not just something I can get anymore. Accepts ebt – hot meal program. They also fry to order. Here I just feel at home with the delicious soul food & the quality is always consistent.

2nd time ordering. Not sure why its like this on a Sunday. We can do better. The greens are too sweet.
The Mac and cheese in the hungry woman plate was dry and rock cold compared to the extra side of Mac. The smotherd chicken gravy was cold. This means it was siting. The restaurant is only 10 min away. Why would it be Rock cold? Other restaurants can pack and serve hot food that is hot when it arrives. Is it best to order from a different soul food restaurant that is further away like Dulan’s? Disappointed again.

The food was great it was a long wait after the wait the guy burnt up my fried chicken they only had legs no chitterlings no peach cobbler or banana pudding no cake. The lady at the register very sweet lady but she has to speak up and move a little faster was there for a hour waiting on my food. The Greens are bomb the turkey wings bomb I was truly pleased with my food and the Service very very nice guy serving the food

This was my first time ordering. I got baked chicken (well cooked, but could’ve been cleaned better). It processed through my bowels, almost immediately. I threw most of it away.

I also ordered greens/cabbage mix. They didn’t offer collard greens alone. The pot-liquor was heavy with vinegar and salt. I couldn’t even eat the cabbage. It was not good. I just picked out the collard greens.

The baked mac and cheese was decent and the candied yams were good. Though, they should throw away the cortex of the yam, prior to baking, as it is not something I eat.

The cornbread muffins were ok. Not moist, just something to eat with the greens.

I wanted to order the Kool-aid. But, a 20 oz cup was $4.50. Please!

Red snapper was too hard and Dry…. The pork chops were very small and tough, ended up chewing and spitting out a good amount. Chops were Supposed to be smothered, but only gravy was drizzled on top….. Rice in both meals was undercooked and tasteless. Also very stingy with the gravy on the rice. Macaroni and cheese and yams were cool. Prices and side order portions were cool. The didn’t have dressing as on menu.
