I have been here many times over the years and used to love it but today was so disappointing. Called in an order to have lunch with my loved one and picked it up. No utensils, had to go back in and ask and they were out of them. I get to meet my loved one and there are no jalepenos, onions or sour cream. All of which I asked for and the girl that took my order repeated back to me when I initially ordered and I called to ask if there was a charge and the cashier was snotty when I asked and she tells me I didn’t order them. Then says “hold on” and hangs up. Then most of the salad I ordered was wilted so just ended up trashing it. Disappointed.

The food here was absolutely amazing. It was homecooking food at it’s finest. The pie selection was great! The staff here was very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is it is a smoking restaurant so the smell of cigarettes hits hard when you first walk in.

I had the best omelette today that I have ever had in my life. I got the western with sausage and bacon. I didn’t want hashbrowns so the waitress suggested tomatoes. It was so good. The wait staff is awesome. Courteous and on top of things. If you go away hungry it’s your own fault. Everyone should try this place

My favorite restaurant in the Joplin area. Everything is the old school way. Good food, Good service. I love that you will run into your friends there and its not uncommon to see tables being pushed together. Also the Best Pies too.

Great restaurant! The kids, Mickey Mouse pancakes were phenomenal! We got the chicken and dumplings and a strawberry pancake and it was really good. My in-laws got beef patty with gravy it was delicious! The waiters were very kind and fast! Will definitely be back if we’re going through town!

This is a homestyle country restaurant that made you feel like Granny did the cooking! The biscuits are huge and the chicken fried steaks are amazing!! All of the food was great, as was the service! Will definitely be back when we are in town!!

Been hearing about it for the year we have lived here and finally went. When they say 1/4 pound biscuit, they ain’t lyin’! Food was good, I won’t say great but it was very good. I think the atmosphere was a bit crammed as we ended up in what appeared to be a side room at a small table. Barely fit the plates we ordered. Overall the experience was good and will return. Pricing was on par with other restaurants.
