Stopped in for lunch, waited about 10 minutes to get a table but the handy text updates were great! We started with the dill cheese bites that were spectacular! Could’ve had more they were so good! First time eating here (the smell of food from outside pulled us in), sat inside in the ac, loved the decor and atmosphere. Service was great as was the food! Portions were really good, kids loved the fries and the option of ordering half the monte was very much appreciated! Prices were a little high for a family of 5 but with great service, large food portions and quality of food it was definitely worth it! We will definitely be back.

This is one of those iconic places you have to eat at when visiting Duluth. Stopped in for lunch. My wife had a fish sandwich and I had a bowl of chicken wild rice. Probably a little pricy for what we received but the atmosphere was worth the visit. Cool building with a variety of rooms serving the patrons. Lots of unique decor to keep your interest and a Grandma’s gift shop to bring home a memento.

While traveling, I saw the overwhelming reviews for this restaurant. There was quite a bit of a wait considering the place had opened for the day within the hour, but plenty of seating, snacks, and a souvenir shop to view while waiting.

Our server Kate was amazing! She took great care of us, and went above and beyond! The wild rice soup was incredible. The chicken sandwich was delightful. The smoked pulled pork hoagie with the Carolina sauce was magnificent. Even the kids mac and cheese was great!

I chose to eat on the deck upstairs which has a limited menu. The view was amazing and 100% why I chose to eat here to watch the aerial lift bridge. I enjoyed my cocktails and the service was great. The food offering were okay and my meal (the chicken sandwich) was also just okay, but I did come for the views and for that the experience was great.

I’m impressed with how creative and tasty the menu is here! My husband and I had a wonderful lunch here and he was impressed with how accommodating they were with his gluten free needs + gluten free beer options.

I had the greatest experience here! The bartenders were awesome! My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon. It was busy but we were able to find some seats at the bar. We were greeted immediately and given menu’s. We loved it so much we decided to invite friends to come with following day. Would recommend but expect there to be a bit of a wait on weekends.

We enjoyed ourselves at Grandma’s! It was a fun dinner. And I would encourage you to check it out. It is a traditional staple in downtown Duluth. The food was good. The service was good. Nothing fantastic but it made for a very enjoyable evening. Give grandmas a try. Sit outside during the summer. We got to watch a huge cruise ship sail right past us.

Went on vacation to the Duluth area, and we parked in a random parking lot that had free parking near all the shops and canal park.

Unfortunately, i find Grandma’s Saloon to be overhyped. I brought my mom here because it’s considered a Duluth must-visit, but we were underwhelmed by the food. The “famous” onion rings were nothing special. The fries were basic. We had a burger and a fish sandwich, and those were okay. I feel like i could have gotten the same food experience at Applebee’s.
