Had a reservation. This restaurant had good food, perfect for large formal family gatherings. There were multiple assorted dishes such as crab, eggplant with pork, and braised beef, and peking duck. The taste of the restaurant was comparable to what i’d had in person in Beijing/Taipei. Overall good service/food quality.

I enjoyed my first visit to this authentic Chinese restaurant. I have only visited this establishment one time but I will be coming back. I tried their Milky Crispy Shrimp, it was delicious! It came with broccoli and white rice. The only odd thing was the two people I ate with got their Lo Mein and Chow Mein way before my food was ready. That was a bit strange. But it was worth the wait.

Honestly, it is a very reasonably priced Chinese restaurant. The food is good and the service is fine. They have a great lunch menu that is mostly catered to American palet and other authentic Chinese dishes. This is definitely a family friendly restaurant located in a strip mall. I’d recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back!

Careful with the bills, this place charges junk fee and mandatory 16% tips.
Our lunch bill was over $150, and the restaurant also added a 4% junk fee. We left approximately 10%, which on that total is already a meaningful tip.
The service provided was basic and in line with standard expectations — nothing notably above and beyond. Despite this, the server pointed to the receipt and stated the tip should be at least 16%, adding that 15% was essentially no different from leaving a couple of dollars. The expectation was presented more as a requirement than a suggestion.
Afterward, we could overhear staff discussing the situation and mentioning that Japanese restaurants expect at least 18% regardless of lunch or dinner.
The food was fine. However, direct pressure around a discretionary tip, especially when additional fees are already included, detracted from the overall experience.

A hidden gem in the greater Twin Cities area. I came here for lunch on Saturday and absolutely loved the soup noodles. We got the beef brisket and the pork ribs one. I recommend the beef one more – the meat was just more tender and more flavorful. The squid rolls were amazing. I highly recommend this dish if you like squid. It was a good mixture between crispy and squid texture. I recommend this place to anyone who likes spicy food (they have non-spicy dishes too). The drive was a bit far but definitely a must check out place if you’re in the area!

I was told this place was great and had to try it. It was very busy, great servers, fun, family atmosphere, but the food is just plain and simple bland. I get it, I get it. Traditional Chinese dishes and not Americanized Chinese dishes. Tripe, kidney, and other items not on most “Chinese” menus. The portions were good and the prices in line, but the food was just not good. The Szechwan dumplings were decently cooked, but the sauce was all oil, a bit spicy, but again, very little flavor. The Mongolian chicken was recommended from someone waiting in line with us so I tried it. The chicken was fatty and chewy. I had to add soy sauce for any flavor at all. Slimy, bland, chicken. Not appetizing. I also tried the cashew chicken. It was small pieces of fried chicken with a few carrot slices and some cashews. The meat just tasted roughly like the batter, but again, was fatty and gross. Just like an entire chicken was just cut up and every part thrown in. No trimming.
Maybe you’ll have better luck with different dishes, but it’s a no for me dog.

The quality of the food and service has been on the decline. This last visit the service was terrible. The server only came willingly to visit to take our order and give us the bill when it was not busy. This server also had a horrible attitude (not the first time with this server).
Also, I have experienced them adding an 18% gratuity charge to parties of 2 instead of large parties. Based on MN laws, junk fees are illegal unless clearly disclosed (verbally, signage, or on menu). Based on the other reviews, they do this to minority and other asian customers. This type of discrimination is shameful.

First time visit to this gem. We didn’t do traditional dishes on this visit but I look forward to trying some in the future. This visit was some appetizers and the lunch specials which are a great deal. The only negative was they were out of the salad for the lunch specials and didn’t tell us. We had to ask to find this out. Other than this the food was very good.

I went for the first time and thought it was just okay. Then a friend told me it was good, so I suspected I must have ordered the wrong dishes. I decided to give it another try today. It took 40 minutes from sitting down to someone coming over to take our order, and then another hour for the food to arrive. My friend had already finished eating by the time my dish came. I also noticed that an 18% service charge was secretly added to our bill (for just two people), and even after that mandatory charge, there was still an option to add more tip. That’s ridiculous. Thankfully, they removed the mandatory charge after we spoke to them about it. I’m never going back
