Love this place. The new management has great food, great service with all the feel of the old dinner. The menu still has some of the old favs (respect for the old owners) but the new additions are TOO GOOD. Also the coffee is good – meets my standard of can’t see the bottom of the mug. Breakfast or lunch the food is on point.

Sometimes bad luck turns into good luck! We got snowed in today in Williams so started looking for a place to eat breakfast. We found this place by looking at several social media sites. All I can tell you is my wife thought it wa some of the best Mexican style food she has ever had. We had two specials – hers was pork in a red sauce, beans, 2 eggs and salsa. Mine was 2 layered tortilla in a red and green sauce, beans topped with 2 eggs. Fantastic! Making plans to eat here again tomorrow on our way out of town.

Recently changed hands and renovated. Decor looks great, food was delicious- I’d recommend the Southwestern skillet, it was super tasty. Some teething issues (as with any opening) but staff were happy to address them. Met the owner and he was friendly and happy to chat and take feedback.

Much better when old owners own the place . Now food is greasy and no taste . What ever they use for oil to cook has a terrible after taste . I miss the family owned , that took pride in making your food not this thrown together corporate food . Place is chain owned now that’s sad . I rather have personable , smiling , loving , joking family . Than young kids that don’t care and have no sense of humor . Not going back which is sad to say .Good Bye Grand Canyon Cafe we will miss you and thank you for being open on cold snowy days to the rainy season , I always left with a sunshine in my heart .

It looks like the old Grand Canyon Cafe with updated booths and that’s about it. I was actually surprised that they changed so little. The food we got was great, fabulous, the prices are incredibly high, double what the old menu used to be and not worth double the price. For example the bert sandwich which is basically an egg cheese sausage green chili sandwich on bread, just regular bread 12 bucks or 11 bucks stupid crazy! I liked the food but it’s still a dive and they want Brix prices. Not sure we’ll be back.

Everything was the worst. Our egg drop soup smelled horrible and tasted like nothing.

This place is just what Flagstaff needs– simple food, done well. Plus you get the option of beer/wine. Most dishes are in the 10-15 dollar range but the ingredients are top quality (and generally local). I would happily pay extra money to know where my food (especially meat) is coming from and to know that the owners are using goods from other local businesses. If you go to the bathrooms, you also get to peek into the kitchen. That’s something you don;t get to see at diners very often. One of the servers told me that she used to work with the previous owners so it seems as though the new ownership has allowed some of the previous workers to keep their jobs.

Stopped for breakfast, and could not have been more pleased. The quality and freshness of every dish (there were 4 of us) was superlative. With large portions, great service, and a cool retro vibe, I highly recommend.

Horrible food. Too oily on the fried food. Huge amount of food with cheap quality. I would rather have half the amount with higher food quality. This place ruins the Grand Canyon reputation. The 3 big gold fish in the tiny tiny tiny tank makes me cry. Bad decorations
