Dinner begins at 5pm Thursday-Monday (we are closed on Wednesday), where we offer both, the Gramercy Bistro and Side Bar Menu. Tuesday we focus on Side Bar and only offer our casual menu. Delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the scallops. It’s an upscale restaurant with prices to match, but for a reason: much of the food is locally sourced. The crab cake appetizer was full of flavor, and the scallops were served with unique pairings of sauteed and crispy vegetables that worked perfectly together. The filet mignon was traditional, with mashed potato, green beans and carrot, and was cooked to perfection. Romantic atmosphere, and very accommodating staff. My only qualm was with the desert, which was a very dry cake. I have heard many good things about the pastry chef, so this may have been a one-off slice, or perhaps a fancy dry style cake that I’ve never experienced, but either way, I recommend you stick with a desert with a little more moisture. Drink selection was impressive, and I found a perfect pairing with each dish! Enjoy!

We needed something quick to eat and ordered a fried chicken sandwich and it was pretty good. Nothing to write home about but we were hungry and it did the trick. It did , however, have outstanding batter.

We took my dad here for his birthday because the menu was looked great! We were not disappointed! I had the filet mignon and I could cut it with my butter knife! My husband had the duck and he said it was perfectly cooked and my dad loved his trout! We had strawberry shortcake and Créme Brulee-YUMMM! We highly recommend this restaurant! We are going back tomorrow for my son’s birthday!

We eaten here twice and enjoyed it both times. The standout dish is the crab cakes, they are done with a wasabi sauce which is terrific.

Went for a spur of the moment date and had the best dinner. I ordered the sirloin and it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. Dessert I split the apple Dutch cake, amazing. Our server, Marissa, is so sweet and knowledgeable. Perfect secret chill spot in Williamstown,

I will say: the ambiance is very well curated. The decor, music and furnishings were gorgeous. My mocktail was amazing and one person in my party of five enjoyed their meal.

Otherwise… we were pretty disappointed. We were all but abandoned after we got our food. The staff was awkward at best, off-putting/borderline rude at worst. “Seared” tuna was overcooked. Crab cakes were absolutely Drenched in wasabi to the point of being inedible. Other dishes were just okay. For $30 a plate, we were really expecting more.

The food was OK, but they overcharged me and I didn’t notice until I got home- when I called/ emailed to point it out, they didn’t want to put the money back for some reason but said they would give me a $25 gift card. Never got a refund, never got a gift card in the mail. I didn’t want to cancel the entire charge with my credit card company because some of the charge was valid. Felt scammed. It was a while ago but I won’t be going back.

There is a SideBar to this review. Sunday we dined @ Gramercy. At the helm, chef and owner Sandy Smith. Our dinner, all courses, was delicious and artfully composed with local ingredients.Tuesday, we decided to return to Gramercy to find the dining room was closed on that night and on Tuesday, dinner was served in the Side Bar where the menu was BBQ, Burgers and Sandwiches. Somewhat skepticl we decided to stay and not surprisingly we enjoyed the best burger, the best pulled-pork and some delicious Sides. We highly reccommend this restaurant when in Williamstown. Be sure to chat with Sandy, chef/owner. And special kudos to Joe, our server, both evenings.
