This place was highly anticipated for me, and it did NOT disappoint. Super supportive and helpful staff, such wonderful people! Ordered the Pork Belly Bites to start, and they were AMAZING tender, juicy in a sweet teriyaki glaze with green onions. I told them to surprise me for my meal (as I was starting my YOUTUBE channel MysterEats), the channel will have restaurants surprise me with their BEST dish. The Chef Travis surprised me with the Bourbon Bacon Pork Chop, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and an “OFF THE MENU ITEM,” a scratch made Crab Cake! The pork chop was cooked very well, tender and juicy! Crab Cake was super savory and delicious, possibly my first ever real Crab Cake. And the garlic Mash was quite tasty. The order also came with a Ceasar Salad, which was solid. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was well seasoned. I really do recommend this place as a date night spot, not the MOST kid friendly… but did have kid meals. They have free pool tables and shuffleboard, also live performances. It’s all around a great spot right off the interstate!

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful find today. Food was amazing..service was awesome.. so happy the restaurants on the square were closed on this 4th of July and sent us looking for a place to eat. You won’t regret your choice to dine here. Have pool tables and live music on the weekends.

Stopped on our trip from Ohio to dallas. First time ever in TX and wanted a steak. Really nice staff, got the 16 oz ny strip and it was amazing. Inside looked like a roadhouse u would see in a movie.

Unfortunately, I don’t hold much hope for this eatery unless they make changes. Plus, interior is still the Lone Star Saloon, they changed nothing. Which evidently includes dirty glasses hanging over the bar.

First time stopping here, while on a trip to Dallas, and so glad that we did! We tried a variety of the menu items; some of them were spot on and some, the execution missed the mark. Travis and his kitchen crew happily made things right. I do have to say what made our stop most amazing was the service! Our waitress, Molly, went above and beyond! She was incredibly attentive and made us feel as if we were guests in her own home. A good meal and Molly’s sweet hospitality are well worth the drive to visit GR Steakhouse again!!

I had the ribeye steak medium rare, potatoes, and salad. My wife had the filet medium rare mashed potatoes and salad. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, and the potatoes and salad were prepared to perfection. The server was prompt in taking our orders and checking back to make sure everything was good. It was a great experience. We will definitely return.

Wow great prices and super yummy food. We had the French Dip and Burger. Fries were very tasted. Looks like it would be a fun time in the evening. Pool tables, shuffle board. Live music stage. Great atmosphere. Our server Stephanie was awesome.

Our first experience at GR, and we will definitely go back. Our table ordered steaks, the pork chop and chicken fried steak along with apps and drinks. All of the food was high quality and cooked perfectly. We are thrilled to have a place like this so close to home.

Had the NY steak, was very thick, however the meat was very bland, and no seasoning. Tasted like it’s been frozen for a long time. The table was way to short and had to hold my salad bowl in the air so I could eat it. Drinks were good though!
