I just went here with my girlfriend and I and it wasn’t very busy but the smells coming in today were very good. The hostess was polite and helped see to our needs and when we got our food the Mozzarella was clearly fresh and the burgers were well done. I was wary at first about the menu prices but as you can see from the photo the portions are well worth the price. Its definitely an affordable meal for a great price and the atmosphere is chill with clean floors and tables and the music is great.

I’m not a burger person but I would say this is one of the very few burger places I will return to. They offer many varieties. The burgers are very juicy and tender, cooked just right!

Visiting port Jefferson and had lunch at this restaurant. The location is near the ferry so easy to walk to. Bar service very good. Friendly staff. Food was fresh and delicious. Got a few appetizers with the dipping sauce. Definitely a place to visit while touring in NY.

Overall the place was okay. The chairs are uncomfortable and it’s kind of loud inside. The wings were pretty good, but definitely not the best. The Tuscan burger was really good. My wife built her own and it came out cold along with both our onion straws. The garlic fries were also pretty disappointing since there was barely any garlicky taste to them and they were just covered in parmasean. I would come back to try a different burger, just wouldn’t order any special fries this time.

A GOOD JUICY BURGER AND ALOT OF ONIONS ! Okay so I go out with the Boys and thought we go to a restaurant in this part of town but not sure where. So we saw this place and decided this place looks good and worth the waitlist for like 35 minutes. First BITE and juices came out of the burger. Also I noticed that this place uses a lot of onions for their flavor. Their cut potatoes had onions in the basket. The standard side for a burger is onion strings!!

If you like burgers, this is the place for you. Lots of choices and customization available. The fries were very tasty.
Our burgers came with onion strings. They are sort of like onion rings except the onion pieces are thinner. This allows a better texture. They weren’t too greasy and tasted good.

Cheerful greeter brought us to a not very large dining room. Waitress took our order without a smile and without an extra word. When our drinks arrived, I thanked her…nothing. Food arrived, thank you again…slight nod. The other waitresses seemed to be smiling and polite; maybe ours was having a bad day. The burgers were good, but not great. The onion slivers/rings and fries were very good. Port Jeff has a lot of other dining choices. I won’t be rushing back.

Waited ~30 minutes for a bison burger w brisket and Mac and cheese. My burger was really good – I’d go back for the burger again, but the Mac and cheese was worse than boxed Kraft Mac and cheese. It felt like someone boiled elbow pasta and then sprinkled the essence of cheese over it. If you look at the picture, it’s the 3 cheese pasta, but it tasted more like a 0 cheese pasta.
Wait staff was nice.
Edit: went back again to give this place another try, but the burger was dry and the countertops were dusty. French fries also have this gross brown color as if the fryer oil is dirty and they’re cut so small and thin there’s no potato to have that satisfying bite. Dry burgers, bad fries, 45 min wait on a non-busy day
