BBQ chicken plate was okay, nothing special. Chicken breast tasted like it was slow cooked. Mac salad is incredible.

the cashier was very friendly, but the restaurant itself could use a little more “umph”. maybe play some poly island jams to get into the feel, instead of regular pop music you hear everywhere on the radio, and maybe add some more color/art on the walls, something of/dedicated to hawaii! their portions are good, but they could improve on their meat. i ordered the portuguese sausage eggs and rice and the amount of sausages i got was just sad to me, probably 7-8 pieces total, and i wouldn’t have minded that quantity otherwise, if they weren’t itty bitty tiny circles lol! they don’t give you as much as they give rice and eggs, as an islander i notice these things when cooks skip out on da meat and make up for it with sides! please improve on your meat portions and i will be happily returning, this time with more people to put them on some good island food.

Best Hawaiian food I HAD. Amazing quality of food, there loco moco is great. Macaroni salad is a chef’s kiss, and so is that Kalua pork. My favorite though is there dessert pie that isn’t even on the menu! It’s in a little showcase that’s cold but yea. Ooh. I forgot to mention, there spam musubi too, and their blue sliders ARE amazing. You should try them. They will blow your socks off lol. Amazing place. Absolutely would reccomend.

This place has amazing food and service! Myself and a girlfriend work nearby and we decided to meet for lunch here. Immediately, we were greeted by staff with smiles. We informed her that we had never been there before and she was extremely helpful in giving us a run down of everything, making suggestions, and offering to take our order at the table.

Way overpriced for what they give. Got 2 mini meal’s with spam wasumasubu for $28 and the mini meals were meant for teeni weenie mini people. Literally 1 baby scoop of rice and like 1 piece of chicken sliced up. Only positive was the spam musubi was good but the mini meals were bland. Wouldn’t go again with hula across the street and u get way more for the same price. Also asked for saracha and the lady gave me one little container like it was enough for 3 people lol.

Got the Saimin Noodle Soup and the Loco Moco. Great food here. Same quality as the Benicia location. The staff was excellent and friendly. Food was great. Can’t wait to go again!

I got the spamusubi and katsu full plate. Both plates were really good and the workers were very friendly and nice. You can either get the spamusubi wet or dry. It was delicious!
