Reviews
The service is always top tier.
The staff is very friendly and approachable.
The food is always fresh, hot and delicious! I usually get the Exacta or a Texas Philly. Can’t go wrong with either choice!
The fish, shrimp and hush puppies are consistently good!
Well folks as many of you already know it no longer on a back road. Manor has grown tremendously and so much it’s almost touching Pflugerville.
Alright, back to reviewing this place again. It’s grown on the inside since we last came. Read the signs for the entry way.
Definitely plenty of parking and seating. I highly recommend sitting outside if it is nice outside or you have kids that you just want to run and play around to get their energy out.
I had to stick with my favorite chicken fried steak. It’s one of the best places for this country meal. My wife just got a hamburger, I cannot remember which one.
Overall, I didn’t feel bloated or have to take a to go bag. They do offer alcoholic beverages. The service with the staff is still amazing and professional. The staff provided us a delightful customer experience.
They do accept Apple Pay; however, not where you order in front of you.
I recommend this place as it’s one of the best locally owned places in the area.
I have been on a burger kick lately, and the Good Luck Double Cheeseburger holds its own against hand-helds from JewBoys, Hat Creek, Buddy’s, Dan’s, P. Terry’s, Clark’s Oyster Bar and Bartlett’s (Top 5 of mine).
NADC, Casino, Jabs, Casino El Camino, and Hopdoddy are on deck to try over the next month or so. If you have others, I should try, let me know.
The Good Luck Double Cheeseburger ($15.78) with bacon) comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle, cheese, and mustard. I always add bacon and sub in mayo and ketchup for the mustard. Get fries on the side, or if you like onion rings, ask for them to be cooked a little darker.
Good Luck has 10 burgers on their menu. Other favorites of mine are the Triple Crown ($12.99), which comes with onion rings, bacon and ranch dressing, plus all the fixings. The Chili Cheeseburger ($11.29) comes with Papa Duck’s chili, cheese, and onions on top. It’s a mess, but oh, so good!
If burgers aren’t your thing, try their Lucky Club Sandwich ($10.39), Catfish Basket ($10.99), or the Grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu ($13.99). If you like Fried Green Tomatoes ($4.99), they have good ones. Ask for some of their Chipotle aioli on the side.
My advice is go for the burgers and you will find other things that are good too. Good Luck Grill is located in Manor.
Cool Tip: Check out Jupiter’s Ice Cream, six minutes away from the restaurant for dessert. Its on 290 East heading toward Elgin. #MattGoodEats
