We are visiting from Montreal, Canada, and we stopped at this restaurant. Our experience was incredible: excellent customer service and food! We ordered the fried seafood platter (oysters, shrimp, fish), with fried vegetables and a sandwich, and everything was delicious! I just moved in from north TX, and wanted something near where I live. Went here and lemme tell ya, didn’t expect much bc I was just choosing nit being picky. But dang ol son, mashed potatoes just tasted great, and the sandwich I got, goated. French fries the right amount of crisp outside and soft inside. Also they were just abt to close and still made everything superb. Would definitely go again or make it a regular

I called ahead and asked if a table of 12 could be seated and the only thing I heard was “Come on down!” The place was very nice very clean and the food was spectacular. I recommend the catfish but there are many other options available. The food came out quick and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this spot for anyone in Manor or passing through to stop by and try these delicious meals. We will be back!

I’ve never had a bad meal or experience at Good Luck Grill.
The service is always top tier.

The staff is very friendly and approachable.

The food is always fresh, hot and delicious! I usually get the Exacta or a Texas Philly. Can’t go wrong with either choice!

The fish, shrimp and hush puppies are consistently good!

Been several times. Really enjoy the catfish basket which comes with 4 fillets, hush puppies and either fries or cole slaw. Catfish is crunchy outside and juicy inside. Wife gets the American classic burger. Portions large enough for a take home box. This place has the same menu as the Lucky Duck in Taylor. Little hard to see the driveway off 973 to enter. Look for the cone bottom industrial tanks by the highway painted in ketchup and mustard colors.

My wife and came here after coming here 9 years ago. I remember finding this place back in the day taking back roads home.

Well folks as many of you already know it no longer on a back road. Manor has grown tremendously and so much it’s almost touching Pflugerville.

Alright, back to reviewing this place again. It’s grown on the inside since we last came. Read the signs for the entry way.

Definitely plenty of parking and seating. I highly recommend sitting outside if it is nice outside or you have kids that you just want to run and play around to get their energy out.

I had to stick with my favorite chicken fried steak. It’s one of the best places for this country meal. My wife just got a hamburger, I cannot remember which one.

Overall, I didn’t feel bloated or have to take a to go bag. They do offer alcoholic beverages. The service with the staff is still amazing and professional. The staff provided us a delightful customer experience.

They do accept Apple Pay; however, not where you order in front of you.

I recommend this place as it’s one of the best locally owned places in the area.

I did not like Good Luck Grill on my first visit, but a friend convinced me to go back and try their Double Cheeseburger with bacon . It was definitely worth the trip. The burger was huge and turned out to be one of my favorites in the Austin area.

I have been on a burger kick lately, and the Good Luck Double Cheeseburger holds its own against hand-helds from JewBoys, Hat Creek, Buddy’s, Dan’s, P. Terry’s, Clark’s Oyster Bar and Bartlett’s (Top 5 of mine).

NADC, Casino, Jabs, Casino El Camino, and Hopdoddy are on deck to try over the next month or so. If you have others, I should try, let me know.

The Good Luck Double Cheeseburger ($15.78) with bacon) comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle, cheese, and mustard. I always add bacon and sub in mayo and ketchup for the mustard. Get fries on the side, or if you like onion rings, ask for them to be cooked a little darker.

Good Luck has 10 burgers on their menu. Other favorites of mine are the Triple Crown ($12.99), which comes with onion rings, bacon and ranch dressing, plus all the fixings. The Chili Cheeseburger ($11.29) comes with Papa Duck’s chili, cheese, and onions on top. It’s a mess, but oh, so good!

If burgers aren’t your thing, try their Lucky Club Sandwich ($10.39), Catfish Basket ($10.99), or the Grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu ($13.99). If you like Fried Green Tomatoes ($4.99), they have good ones. Ask for some of their Chipotle aioli on the side.

My advice is go for the burgers and you will find other things that are good too. Good Luck Grill is located in Manor.
Cool Tip: Check out Jupiter’s Ice Cream, six minutes away from the restaurant for dessert. Its on 290 East heading toward Elgin. #MattGoodEats
