Best take-out ever. The combo was the best deal for Indian food I’ve ever seen in the USA, all context taken into account. No exaggeration. Taste, price, big portions, friendly staff – highly recommended!!!

I was craving Indian food and came across this place, ordered the lunch special (butter chicken, palek paneer) with an order of samosa. Based off the reviews, I was excited to eat. I opened my plate and was already expecting the food not to be the best. I ordered mild, there’s absolutely no heat to this at all. There’s no seasoning, not in the butter chicken, the paneer or the samosa. It’s all soooo bland. I’ve had some amazing Indian food and while I don’t expect each place to taste the same, I do expect SOME flavor. On top of that, the tamarind and chutney sauces 100% taste straight out of a bottle. Which is fine, but oh my gosh the chutney is sooo sweet. Felt more like a dessert dip than a tamarind sauce. The chutney… I just put the lid back on after tasting it. Naan texture is good. Very disappointing food, nice people and the lunch special isn’t very costly but I won’t be returning. I’m guessing all these other views have never had good Indian food…if you have had Indian food, expect to be sad.

Brose’ Family Variety Show
Curry Corner is a small, family-owned Indian restaurant that has been serving the Olympia community for over 10 years. The food is produced, sold, and consumed by the local Indian population, so you can be sure that it is authentic cuisine.

The menu features a wide variety of dishes, from classic curries to more unique specialties. I started with the vegetable samosas, which were crispy and flavorful. For my main course, I had the chicken tikka masala, which was cooked perfectly and served with a generous portion of basmati rice. I also tried the naan, which was perfectly cooked and had a nice chewiness to it.

The service at Curry Corner was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. The prices are also very reasonable, making Curry Corner a great option for a delicious and affordable meal.

Overall, I had a great experience at Curry Corner. The food was authentic and delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Indian meal in Olympia.

Here are some specific things that I liked about Curry Corner:

The food was authentic and delicious. The flavors were complex and well-balanced, and the dishes were cooked to perfection.
The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.
The prices were reasonable. I got a lot of food for a very reasonable price.
If you’re looking for a great Indian meal in Olympia, I highly recommend Curry Corner. You won’t be disappointed.

I have lived in the area since 2008 and when Curry Corner first opened. Back then they were the best Indian restaurant around—flavorful, colorful dishes and great prices. And they won Best of the Northwest Awards! But now after over a decade they’ve definitely fallen off the mark quality and price. First of all, VERY expensive. Nearly doubled in last few years. I know this is the overall restaurant trend but they’re higher than most.

As for our order we phoned it in like most do in area. Their dining area is like a cafeteria so no ambiance or desire to eat in. We got a samosa appetizer and the combo 2-meat curry plate. Since we don’t like raita (veggie yogurt) and rice pudding, we convinced them to give us extra naan and mango-pistachio ice cream as substitutions. For the two curries we got the chicken curry and butter chicken (see pics). Samosa was two huge pieces, almost two big to really enjoy but the crispiness and flavor profile were there particularly when you dip in their two sauces that come with it. Chicken curry was ok on spice-wise and flavor. The butter chicken was, however, greasy and lacking in spices. Not sure what spices but definitely not how I remember. Tandoori chicken was delicious and cooked perfectly. Jasmine rice and naan were just like they were from before, nice job! And finally the mango-pistachio ice cream was definitely worth the swap and highly recommend if you like those flavors. Very fresh, creamy and homemade.

All in all, a decent Indian restaurant and I’d recommend it still but it’s a shadow of its past and I won’t likely go back for a while. I wonder if it switched hands. I know it’s a family run business and they have a relationship with the Curry house just down the street and been some strive. Whatever the case the quality is not what they once were. Hopefully they can work to bring it back to it’s former glory.

We pick up food once a month or more for the last 4.5 years. It is our favorite Indian place in Lacey. They are consistently good although we always order the same thing. I love Indian food and it’s always a tiny bit different everywhere I’ve gone – world wide. This place only does carry out but they have lots of Indian groceries as well!

Located in Lacey, WA. Near Exit 114. Curry Corner is a family owned, locally ran Indian Food/Cuisine. Quick stop to order food to-go.

They have a variety of options in their menu. Unfortunately they still won’t allow dine in at their establishment.

Always friendly and welcoming whenever we order from here. Their Butter Curry Chicken and Garlic Naan are our favorite. It’s a must try!

Overall a solid option for Indian food and a local favorite.

The best Indian curry dishes we have tried so far! They are not accepting dine in for now, but I can imagine how packed this place could be without the Covid restrictions. We were waiting for our food in our car and other folks were coming one after the other. Service was fast too.

Lamb curry was the bomb! Shahi Paneer was yummy! Mango Lassi was delicious! Definitely coming back for more and try other dishes. They also have a variety of Indian species/products for sale.

Very busy during lunch time. But granted all the reviews on the wall, I understand why it was busy and I thought I would be in for a good meal. However, the food was subpar and granted the makeup of the crowd; there was no need for the food to excel. Most of these people probably have never been to an Indian neighborhood or any place where the population was actually brown so showing up seemed to be their extent of adventure. I digress. I had the chicken tikka masala which oddly tasted like butter chicken when I inquired about it the waitress said the sauces were similar so I presume they just give people either or and say its what you ordered . So I ordered a vindaloo which wasn’t much better. The samosas were quite bland (something I notice a lot when ethnic people try to cater their food to underdeveloped palates) and the best thing I had was garlic naan and mango juice. The aloo tikka wasn’t too bad either though. Just was not fond of the cream they put on top. The service was quite lacking. Even as the restaurant cleared out I had to flag down the waiter for refills and requests over the vacuum. Needless to say I was quite disappointed yet they do sell some Indian products in a lil store area. Unfortunately they didn’t have the products I normally use.
