Good Karma Cafe makes food that feels truly cared for. Every dish we tried tasted fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared, both healthy and satisfying. The high-protein options, especially the fresh tofu, chimichurri and seitan nuggets, and buffalo tempeh, were easily the best we’ve ever had. We have tried almost every dish and special available and everything is a 10/10.

And the tiramisu deserves its own moment…wow…genuinely outstanding.

The kindness of the owner and staff matches the food and makes the whole place feel special. A real gem and absolutely worth experiencing again and again.

Good Karma Cafe became our place during a really tough time and I cannot say enough good things about it. We live far from Red Bank and still went here five days in a row. That should tell you everything.

The food is outstanding. The vegan protein game here is seriously strong. Everything we tried was flavorful, satisfying, and made with real care. You leave full and energized, not wondering where the protein went. Every dish felt intentional and well thought out.

The owner is an absolute gem. So kind, warm, and genuinely cares about the people who walk through the door. That human touch mattered more than she probably knows and made this place feel comforting and special.

And the tiramisu deserves its own shoutout. Hands down one of the best vegan desserts I have ever had. Rich, balanced, and just perfect. We kept coming back for it and it never disappointed.

Good Karma Cafe is more than just a restaurant. It is a place with heart. Incredible food, amazing people, and a space that genuinely helped us get through a hard stretch. If you are anywhere near Red Bank, this place is worth the trip. We will absolutely be back.

Mixed feelings. I used to rave about Good Karma and never thought I’d write a bad review. In fact, when I was still living in NJ, I would go there regularly. Since moving to upstate NY four years ago, I only get to Good Karma when visiting family in NJ.

During our latest trip we stopped at Good Karma to pick-up dinner on the way to my parent’s house. We ordered the Love Bowl, Gado Gado Salad, and the Live Nachos.

Issues:
1) The Gado Gada salad was a big miss. It’s supposed to include lettuce, tofu, cabbage, carrots, roasted peanuts, and a sesame seed mix. There was ZERO sesame seed mix and literally ONE roasted peanut. We had asked the tofu be swapped for beans, which did happen, but basically all my wife got was a salad with lettuce and beans.

2) Live Nachos: what a HUGE disappointment. I’ve had these a number of times in the past and was really looking forward to these. One of my favorite parts has always been the creamy cashew sour cream. THIS TIME, there was one small dollop of the cashew cream. We basically paid $15 for a box of seasoned lettuce with 8 nacho chips — not nearly enough chips to even eat with our seasoned lettuce.

The Love Bowl, fortunately, was on par with my past experiences. However, the experience still left me questioning whether it’s worth returning to Good Karma next time.

Cute little local vegan spot with healthier options, delicious and all made in house. Minimal seating. Great for a meet up with a friend, lunch date, or take out. Everything I’ve had over the years I’ve enjoyed. Everyone who works there is super kind and friendly. Good vibes all around. Good smoothies! Great wraps, sandwiches, bowls, and more! I wish they had more sides (like maybe a side of Mac & cheese instead of just entree size/price!) I always stop here when I’m around the area. I highly reccomend!

Some good some bad. Right off the bat, I thought the waiter wasnt the friendliest. Area was quite compact and everyone was touching shoulders inside which i didnt really like. LOVED the art on the wall really encapsulated the area well.

Food:

Loaded nachos- great but i wish they were warm like normal nachos. Got soggy really fast and everything was hidden under like the lettuce and beans- didnt love the way it was served but overall really tasty

Mac and cheese- awful did not taste like mac and cheese at all. Ive had good vegan mac and cheese before and this one was just not done well

Spinach and artichoke dip- really tasty but it says its served with garlic toast, thats a lie, Ours was just plain bread no garlic flavor and not toasted.

I might return to try their other stuff but wasnt overly impressed as a vegan

OBSESSED with this gem of a restaurant! We have been regulars at Good Karma for over two years now and the Philly cheese steak still blows our minds every visit. Besides, the cheese steak, the nachos are a must-try app and the love bowl is a pb lover’s dream. I don’t know how they make their sauce but we are addicted. 10/10 :D.

Good Karma is delicious! I can’t say enough good things about this spot. I’ve tried many menu items over the years and have never had a bad meal. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the satay. The portions are generous and the food is so fresh. Great location and awesome people.

I came in for a pick up order yesterday, after many years of not being in the area. I was very glad to see my favorite item (the seitan chimichuri sticks) were still on the menu. The entire staff was so warm and friendly, making the experience extremely positive. After checking out, I decided to also grab a lemon and lavender cupcake, which was fantastic. The only way I can describe the chimichuri sticks is “heavenly”. They were just as I had remembered, if not even better. I can’t wait to return again soon!!!
