Not worth it, I was excited to try this place so we placed an order for pick up. The rice was super dry, my chicken dish tasted like it was cooked in the same wok as seafood. When I called to provide my feedback, it didn’t help instead it made it worse since there was no sense of common courtesy of just listening. We ended up throwing away the food. Worst $50.00 ever spent and I ended up having a bowl of cereal for dinner.

Super impressed! I’m finicky and I want to share that WOW experience! Fresh veggies and they give you a lot! BIG shrimping typically Chinese take out use small to medium sized shrimp these were big and tasty cooked perfectly nice crispy edges, not too much sodium perfect spice not too hot but with a nice kick. Pleasant on the phone and great friendly service modified my General Tsao shrimp he added orange slices for me so yummy! Packaged well and ready for me when I walked in. Ample parking and easy to find in shopping plaza front corner. HIGHLY recommend!

food poisoning. My husband had the crispy duck and he was fine. I’m upset I spent $38 on food that I threw away. I only ate a little bit and threw the rest away. So question…. if this is the best yall had..where are you eating at? I live in Raleigh so I’ll stick to the pop ups there ✌️

Not worth the rush or traffic to take almost 40 min to go and come back when my job is only 2 miles away. Location is hard to get in and out during fish traffic.
The menu prices are high. It was nice they called to tell me it would be 2$ extra for “extra egg.” They put 1 fried egg on top of my side (pint) of fried rice. The fried rice did not have any egg, onion, peas, or carrots in it all. So they gave me plain fried rice under the 1 fried egg I paid for. Bland no flavor. The rice looked like it already had soy sauce on it because it was that color, and not what fried rice usually looks like. They did not even include any soy or duck, nor did they ask. Why was the rice so dark for PLAIN fried rice. The fried dumplings were just okay, but half of them were steamed and grocery store size. I could not imagine paying 16$ for an entree at this quality. Food really wasn’t good. Not worth $13.

After reading Greg Coxx’s review from the N&O and hearing great things about it, I finally dined at Szechuan Garden on Friday night. The decor is very nice with a beautiful mural of a peacock and ornate wooden sculptures between the tables behind the glass. There is also plenty of seating . The staff was extremely friendly in explaining the dishes and making a recommendation. I had the chicken cashew with vegetables and for the dinner combo, it comes with a choice of soup and egg roll or spring roll. The vegetables were very fresh and was presented on a pretty green plate with a side of rice. My plate was not extremely hot but that may have been because it was close to closing time. It was not cold but I just wanted it a tad hotter in temperature.
You pay at the front and the prices for $12.95 dinner combo are great.

I have dined in as well as ordered take out. Love this place. Food is excellent. We’ve had the Lo Mein, General Tso Tofu and Chicken, Orange Beef and Chicken, Crispy Duck, Vegetable Delight, Squirrel Tail Fish and Sesame Chicken. All really delicious. This is our go to spot for Chinese food.
