We have pasteles and morcilla made daily, alcapurrias, rice and empanadillas made daily. Our bakery features quesitos, flans, budin, pastelillos de guayaba, tembleque and many more home town favorites. Did I mention we make sandwiches criollo? From Tripletas to Ham and cheese all of are sandwiches are made on our very own pan sobao or pan de agua made fresh in house daily. Come check us out you will not be disappointed.

We worked a job right down the street from here for a few months and that’s what I had for lunch and sometimes dinner. They have an awesome selection of puerto rican cuisine, as well as all kinds of baked goods. The owner is super friendly as well would recommend.

First time coming to Gonzalez Grocery today, and all of the employees were extremely helpful and kind. I didn’t feel out of place at all, though I understand barely any Hispanic / Latino / originating near and below the equator language. Pastellilos and the banana cake I ordered were SUPER TASTY. This place has arguably the best Spanish Puerto Rican food in the city unfortunately their kitchen closes at 5:00 currently is when most people get out of work so unless you can get food early that’s the consequence. Lines aren’t miserably long but they’re long enough to indicate just how good the food is that people willing to wait.
