I am originally from L.A so growing up I was surrounded by authentic Mexican food. We came to Grand Junction on a short trip and we’re really looking forward tot eying some authentic food here. However, this place is everything but authentic Mexican food. The burgers are not that great or flavorful and the fries were soggy in oil. We got a carne asada burrito and the meat was flavorless and tough. It was also really dry and they didn’t even give me limes. They didn’t seem to have much cilantro either. Tbh I’d prefer lime over the lettuce they gave me. We all know limes are a Mexican staple for food. They didn’t have any. The place was empty on a Friday evening … We would not recommend this place. We felt ripped off for what we paid and what we got. We both left more than half of our food bc we couldn’t continue eating it.

Definitely gives the authentic Mexican atmosphere, with the added little store to the side for any and all dried foods and beverages if you’d like something to go after your meal. Had the carna asada dinner that turned out spectacular. Pretty cheap for what they provide. And trust me, THEY PROVIDE A LOT! Well worth checking it out.

While driving through town I stopped for a number six chicken fajita torta. As you can see from the photo it’s monstrous! Though the food was good I will be honest the chicken tasted slightly freezer burnt.

Carne asada tacos were tasty but expensive. Go it the 12 / plate. Didn’t come with anything except meat, lines, and tortillas. Maybe that’s how they are supposed to be. I just thought it was pricey.

The rice is always dry, hard and undercooked. The fries are soggy. The tortas we’re drenched in grease. Very disappointed.

Authentic dishes. The best fish tacos I have ever had. There is an english language barrier but the staff are so patient and the menu is posted with pictures

Terrible neighbors, they play their music at mind boggling decibels that rattle your window half a mile away until all hours of the night. Refuse to lower the volume. Our whole neighborhood hates them.
