Fantastic food! I came in on a Thursday evening and a friendly server helped me right away. The menu had lots of great choices, but I ordered some fried dumplings and the Korean spicy beef soup. The food was out fast (and hot!) and looked amazing. Generous portions too. The flavor was great, and just the right amount of heat. I’d come back in a heartbeat. Next time I’m within 20 miles of Colby I’d easily detour to Golden Taipei for a meal.

Passing thru this little town on our way from Oregon to Texas, stumbled to this modest joint in a quite afternoon. The owner/server duo were extremely friendly and welcoming.
We weren’t super hungry so we only ordered one appetizer and one main dish

So amazingly delicious!! We found this gem on our way to Colorado from Indiana. The food was outstanding! So was the service! We loved it so much, we are going to try to stop again on our way back. The spicy noodle soup was so yummy! Big enough to share.

Food was very good. It was definitely prepared as ordered (not sitting in a warming tray). General Gsos chicken had just the right spice. Shane was a quiet and efficient waiter. Only negative was that the building itself was too warm for me personally.

Amazing service. My husband and I dined in. Server made certain I got a gluten-free and vegetarian meal that was very tasty. She also helped my husband choose the sauce he’d prefer. He enjoyed chicken and vegetables in Szechuan sauce.
Would highly recommend this restaurant if you like Asian food.

Traveling West from Colorado and needed a fuel stop at lunch time in Colby. Google reviews were high for Golden Taipei and I’m glad I stopped. I had the curry chicken. It came with fried rice and an egg roll. The server was especially friendly, efficient, and professional! Thank you for a lovely out stop on my way back to Missouri.

This restaurant is in Colby KS, a surprising stop in a small town. Very good service, nice clean well-kept restaurant, good food. Quite a few locals in there; that tells you it’s good, right? We had some very good egg rolls with plum sauce. My friend had Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup (delicious!). I had pan fried noodles (different) with beef. Yum . I also had Vietnamese coffee. I think I’ll be having lot more of that. If you find yourself in that area, give it a try!

Me and my hubby came here just for the chicken soup all the way from California. We drove for 3 days and stayed in two hotels during our trip. They were about to close but we explained the situation and they even gave us extra food! I’d say the trip was so WORTH IT!!! Thank you for the amazing service and we’ll be come back next week

I ordered beef and broccoli and it was the worse Ive ever had. For starters I ordered takeout and the rice container was half full!!! Yes half full! Ive never ordered chinese food that didnt fill the rice box up. The rice wasnt white, it was like a brown tint to it but wasnt brown rice. Never seen white rice look like that before.The sauce to the beef and broccoli was sooooo watery. Its wasnt a nice thick brown sauce it just looked like soy sauce and tasted like it too. It was horrible I threw it away. There was wayyyy too much filler there was more carrots, onions and vegetables then there was beef and broccoli.When they handed me my container the juice was so runny it was leaking out. Im not sure why they even handed it to me like that. So I had to open my bag and clean it up. I even asked for another bag. They just gave it to me like that smh. Also the container with the beef and broccoli was also half full. I ordered dinner size and it barely looked like a lunch size. I am a black woman and I could tell this establishment isnt use to seeing people like me but I still expect good food and this was horrible. The good reviews just lets me know everyone isnt use to having GOOD CHINESE because this was HORRIBLE for $13.
