The food was excellent. I really enjoyed it. Had the Texas Fajitas. Came out hot which I love. They serve pre meal chips and salsa which is awesome. They offer a military discount which increased their TIP. The background music was a little overpowering for the atmosphere and made it hard to converse at the table because it was quite loud or we were directly under a speaker or something. The food was very good.

My first time in an Mexican restaurant, and I have to say that I’m quite impressed.
The place is very comfortable and with a lot of typical forniture but it became cozy rapidly so it’s better if you get there as early as possible.
In my personal opinion the food is already prepared and only reheated if ordered but absolutely fresh, because the service it’s to rapid to be prepared at the moment.
Apart from that the burrito was amazing and other people seemed very happy about their food.
It’s perfect for a different dinner and it’s not to pricey.

My last two trips here the service left a lot to be desired. I decided to try again and was reminded why I had not visited in a while. It was early afternoon and not busy yet the server was not attentive. Didn’t come back to see if everything was ok, long wait for the bill, and then walked off before I could give them my credit card and didn’t come back to get it. Someone else passed by for the empty plate and saw that I had been waiting and came back after taking back the dishes.

Nice little Mexican place right off Rt. 17. Plenty of great original options and cooked to perfection. We went on a busy Sunday but our server Jose was amazing and always kept our chips, salsa, and drinks topped off. Overall great food, great place, and wonderful staff.

My family loves El Jimador. We come all the time. There are not a lot of restaurant options on 17 in Stafford County and this one is the best. The staff is always friendly and work hard. The food is always good. The tacos and enchiladas are our favorites. My kids like that they have a salsa bar where you can help yourself to several different types of salsas.

Our go to Mexican restaurant. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the service is fast!
Some of our favorites are the queso fundido, enchiladas, burrito grande, and the new birria tacos.

This place was extremely good and not just your average Mexican restaurant. The waiter I had was very polite and awesome. He cane by the table just enough times to be helpful but not so many times that it was annoying. The food was ready in about 10 after I ordered. Very high quality ingredients in everything that I had. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great authentic meal to lighten up your day.

First visit here. The El Grand Squirto in Stafford went in the dumper so we’re trying other Mexican places.
This is an out of the way Mexican restaurant in a mostly vacant strip mall behind Giant grocery. Place is clean and decor is very nice. We were seated promptly. Down hill after that.
The salsa that came with the chips was watered down tomatoes and cilantro. We were not provided any napkins or eating utensils when seated and had to ask the waitress for them when our meal was served.
The wife ordered her shrimp chimmchimichanga soft with refried beans. It was served fried with rice. That was replaced with no apologies. Shrimp was cooked properly but the dish lacked any seasoning/flavor.
My beef chimichangas were one ground beef and the other beef strips. The strips were tough and both had the same lack of flavoring. The refried beans were almost liquid with no flavor. The two waters both had a musty aftertaste. No sign of our waitress during the meal and no drink refills. We waited for over 10 minutes to get our check and had to stop the hostess to get it who appeared bothered by event but processed the transaction. Our impression was the wait staff just didn’t care and the food was poor.
*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous undiscriptive terms like OMG, awesome, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, their abilities, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don’t get to pick one. No we don’t care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

This is one of my favorite places to eat Mexican food. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices can’t be beat. It’s fairly close to the house so we eat here often. One of my favorite things to eat are the carnitas, they’re juicy but also have the crispy parts too. Their refried beans are excellent. We’ve eaten a fair amount of things on the menu and I have yet to have something that wasn’t good.

We love this restaurant. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been delicious, the serving sizes are more than adequate and we absolutely LOVE the great queso here. Their ranchero sauce is well made, too. The service is not the most friendly but that doesn’t take away from it being a great place to get food.
