The only Chinese food in the area.

Eat here only if you have to have Chinese food.

Food: literally all the same color. Brown, which always tells me a lot. No real distinction in taste between the dishes.

Atmosphere: pretty cliche. Even has Asian flute music playing on a loop. Restroom door handle was sticky. Not good. Facility is not clean.

Service: not bad… Not good.

The place is amazing value for money. The food is great and so is the service . Please be mindful to get here at least an hour before closing time or you may risk being turned away. Only one server takes care of 6 + tables and hence the tables are not turned after being used once. Very happy with the food . The place will do good with an additional server.

The restaurant needs a renovation, the carpet looks so dirty it really sets the tone of your experience. The waitress was friendly and pleasant. The prices were average. We spent $43, including the tip. It’s $20 per person, not including a drink.
I have to say that the food wasn’t very good
The chowmein was spaghetti noodles, no vegetables, and the chicken tasted like it was boiled . Everything else is deep-fried.

Great food tonight and great service! I love the lady, she is so nice. Nice and open space and looked clean. I love the teacup display! The general tsao chicken was slightly spicy with great flavor. I will ask for extra spicy next time. The honey walnut shrimp was creamy, nice and sweet but not sickly sweet like so many other places. Their sweet and sour sauce is always good, more like a plum sauce instead of that ketchup style sauce from other places. Other reviews say it’s expensive but it seems normal to me. $10-20 per dish and you get a LOT of food. I always have leftovers for a couple days. Oh and Thai iced tea! Yum. Will be back!

Sorry, we ate some before I remembered to get pics! FYI they don’t do hand shaven noodles anymore.

Excellent food! Friendly, if somewhat slow service. Didn’t bother me though. Be warned though, if you like spicy food this isn’t the best choice. Used fresh veggies, meat dishes were tasty. Best sesame chicken I’ve had in years. The beef in black bean sauce was delicious, as was the eggplant and broccoli dishes in “spicy” garlic sauce.

I was shocked to find a vegan friendly restaurant in Forks!! Thank goodness for Golden Gate!! We pulled up and they had just opened so the large parking lot was empty! We were seated right away, and the server was very friendly. The atmosphere was cute and had very nostalgic Chinese restaurant vibes. We ordered the General Tso’s tofu, Chow Mein, and spring rolls as an appetizer. The spring rolls were nice and hot and crispy. They had a good sweet and sour sauce to dip them in. The tofu was flavorful and a great texture. The chow mein was also really good. The portions were huge so my husband and I split the meals and had a full large takeout box left to go! The waitress asked if we were vegan while she took our order so this place is very accomodating and aware of vegans needs which is so refreshing! My husband and I both recommend this place if you are a vegan or vegetarian eating in Forks!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 – House Fried Rice and lunch special of Kung Pao Chicken. The fried rice was a bit lacking in ingredients and flavor but very generous on the portion of rice at least. The Kung Pao Chicken had heavy flavoring in the sauce but none of the ingredients taste of it so it was oddly bland in a way but super spicy at random moments.

Ambience: n/a – ordered food to go. Large restaurant space but only 7 tables set up along the edge of the restaurant

Service: 5/5 – short interaction but the lady was very attentive and quick in service

Value for price: 4/5 – okay food that is on the more bland side but decent find in a small town for reasonable price.

Some of the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. Sweet and Sour Chicken was crisp and the Mongolian Beef was flavorful with just the right spice. Rapid service even when multiple tables sit at the same time.

The place could use some renovations. The carpet was definitely old and looked dirty. I was not impressed with the food either. The chowmein and almond chicken was bland. I was okay with the crab ragoon except having the sweet and sour sauce on it. Our server was nice though. Sad to say I’m not going back there again.

Solid Chinese-American staple food. We ordered takeaway and it was prepared quickly and in huge portions. Food was tasty and hot. Two complaints: it was pretty expensive and it came really messy, with sauce dripping everywhere and filling up the takeout bags. Pictured here: bbq pork fried rice, wonton soup, general’s chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken lo mein.
