This was an interesting experience. We found the food to be tasty, and good value.
Don’t come and expect the food to be the best same as the big smoke, because the sauces are different.
The special fried rice was not oily like most and the protein were in large chunks making them seem chewy, and the sauces were different.
But the food was tasty and fresh.

We visited this restaurant as a family but were disappointed by the unfriendly and rude service. Be aware that they charge a 10% surcharge on weekends (Saturday/Sunday), which wasn’t clearly communicated upfront. Total Bulshit !
The pricing is inconsistent and confusing. The same dish is advertised at $18 on website and menu online, $22.50 on the in-house menu, and slightly less for takeaway (about $2 reduction from dine-in). This lack of transparency is concerning.
Most troubling was a hygiene issue we witnessed: after we drank from our water glasses, the staff poured the remaining water from our table back into a communal jug, presumably to serve to the next customers. This is unacceptable from a food safety standpoint.
Given the pricing discrepancies, poor service, and questionable hygiene practices, we ended up eating at Domino’s instead, where the food was hot and the establishment was clean.
I cannot recommend this restaurant due to these cost and hygiene concerns.

We ordered mini spring roll, dim sim, fried rice, king prawn, mongolian beef and sweet and sour pork and 2 jugs of juice punch. Total was $160. The king prawn and mongolian one has very little meat, mostly veggies. The dim sim and pork tasted the best, the others didn’t taste good.

Was visiting Roma. Ordered the golden dragon combinations special. Menu online here says it has one king prawn, but king prawn was nowhere to be seen. It was also super oily. The special fried rice was also mediocre with very sparse meat and shrimp. Rice was clumpy, too. Waste of my time and money..! Very sad for Roma..

The food i had was delicious.
I ordered a “crispy beef/steak, prawn toast and fried rice” as a take away order and took it back to the Motel Carnarvon (which is also awesome BTW)

I was staying overnight in Roma and ordered take-away from the Golden Dragon. I paid $75 for a not so good meal. 1 large special fried rice; it was gluggy, you could not separate any grains of rice as they were glued together. Very little in the way of any sort of vegetable and absolutely no flavour. I had Mongolian beef. It did have flavour with lots of vegetables but most of the beef was so chewy my teeth could not cut through it. The other meal was braised garlic prawns. Five prawns in all, could have done with more garlic (personal taste). So, overall, nothing to write home about. No, I did not tip the delivery man as the charge for delivery was $8.50. I do not mind paying for delivery, as I do know how expensive fuel is these days, and I did appreciate having someone deliver our food, as we had had a very long days drive behind us I we were too exhausted to take another step.

On takeaway allowed. Very expensive, special omelette was over cooked (burnt) and full of onions. No much else. Special fried rice was not special. Apart from lots of peas, no meat and tasteless. I was first to order when they opened and over 1/2hr waiting. Never again.
