Food is basic American fare. Tasty, lots of variety, there’s something for everyone,even picky eaters. It’s not a bad value, but I think drinks are too expensive. Staff was very nice & attentive to our needs. As far as buffets go, it’s good. Same food & quality no matter which one you go to.

I give this location 4 stars based on the experiences I’ve had thus far being pretty good for a buffet! Golden Corral is not super fresh unless you get the made in front of you omelette or steaks but I haven’t had a bad experience yet with food temperatures at this location at all…things that should be hot are hot/cold is cold as it should be. Not all buffets live up to this, the location on Hwy 50 does great with this.

Food was disgusting cold and looked old. Steaks were rubber. When my husband asked the waiter to get the manager she came out very rude and she grabbed a thermometer and instead of put it into the food she just put it the try not the food. Then my husband asked her to try it and she was basically calling us liars then she was cussing at my husband in Spanish and he knows Spanish so they didn’t want to give us our money back or give at least some money off she called the cops and told them that my husband threatened her but he did not all he said is that he was going to call corporate so if that’s threatening I don’t know what is. I will never eat there again especially for $62 for 3 people and the food is disgusting and the place didn’t look clean by the food. If I could give 0 stars i would. I don’t recommend this place due to the food being nasty and the the attitude that you get from manager and employees.

Everything was clean & the food was fresh & good. We usually go to Gurnee but this location is now our favorite. The table attendant could have been better but all in all….we give it a B+. Downfall: NO MILITARY DISCOUNT!

I grow up on this locations, for years and haven’t been in a whole. I was so sadden about how terrible the food was. I had the steak the ribs not sure what type of meat that was. we paid 20 a piece and we had to continue ask for things that were out. evening the dessert was out of order. the only thing I can say is the chicken was good.

I feel that starting for me in 2018 GC started falling off. One thing I don’t like is there are many ppl that come at the end of the night bc of work or crowding. A LOT of the food is cold and they didn’t refill them. The food was bland and tge desserts (which I never eat but my husband used to love) looks played around in and unappetizing. The drinks were tasteless bc they were watered down and the whole experience was a disappointment for me and my daughter. Hubby like the chicken but said the 3xperience just wasn’t the same. I think if they close at 8:30pm S-T and u get there by 7:30pm, you should still get fresh food bc you’re paying the same price as someone who comes in at noon. Customers keep you in business so you should be FAIR to them bc they keep y in business.

We had my dad’s 86th birthday there, he really enjoys the variety of food, I have eaten there several times and enjoy the food also. Great service by Heather, she is amazing. All the staff was very friendly. I like the place and recommend it.

Disappointed my family used to enjoy coming here but the food was almost inedible. My wife got a burger that wasn’t cooked in the middle, my steak was rubber and most of the food was dried out from the lights. The dessert was good
