This steak place is great. Super nice staff working here. Steak was delicious. Went with the NY strip this time. Very soft and cooked perfectly. Rice and sweet potato. Small parkinglot surrounding the building and an enormous parkinglot behind building. If u ask for a bag of peanuts, they will hook it up. Good stuff would recommend

Our waitress was very helpful. She smiled the whole time. It was as if she couldn’t do enough for us. I looked around the room. All the waitresses were smiling. Who’s ever training the wait staff is doing an excellent job.

Consistently great food and service. Reasonably priced steaks. The rolls with cinnamon butter are excellent. Oddly my favorite salad in the world. The lettuce is always fresh and the toppings too. I even enjoy the grilled chicken salad as a meal sometimes here.

I love this place. I’ve been going here for my birthday since i was 2. Every takeout , every dine in, every time they are supper nice and they never messed up EVER. I love the workers they are nice, hard working, and never once have they said or were rude when we say somethings wrong. Every time they get us in they are still nice even if its packed and their tired. Over all i love this place and always will.

If I could I would give a negative 5 stars for the experience we had there the last two times we went. Now this was awhile back but it’s still frustrating.

We came with our two kids. Now i don’t know if people are aware but kids meals comes with drinks and to make things easier on servers we have opted for a larger drink. This was the first time we came in. I said to bring a larger glass to save the waitress from having to refill his drink. We were charged, decided we wouldn’t do it again.

Next time we came in the server asked us if we would like a bigger glass for our oldest son (9). We say yes sure. We get the bill and they charged us for an extra drink though they didn’t tell us it would be more.

Drinks are included whether he gets 3 to 4 small glasses or 1 large glass. I was a waitress for many years and always appreciated on busy nights when the parents were fine with the bigger glass. It saved a lot of work and the cost was the same.

So the first time I realize we should have clarified but the second time was sneaky and underhanded. When we brought it to her attention it was quickly removed but if we hadn’t caught it we would have paid extra for the privilege of using a glass instead of the kids cup. Which is beyond ridiculous.

Now I will say we have been to a Texas Roadhouse in Troy and it was honestly one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic! They offered a larger glass and didn’t charge us for it. That was good customer service. I hope this location can learn from that one.

First off let me say we typically love this place and the staff. My wife and I come here weekly and order/tip well. Staff is always great. Tonight not so much! The male server was not a likeable guy at all, very arrogant. He decided to belittle a young lady who brought our plates out. She accidentally handed me my wife’s plate and vice versa. No big deal, two people at a table we will figure it out. He decided to lecture her right in front of us, clearly embarrassing her. I gave her a fist bump and told her she was doing awesome, so he then decides to preach at me why he is belittling her.
2nd issue. We ordered 3 steak and chicken meals. The meals come out and the chicken strips were the size of my pinky. Looks like one chicken tender was breaded and cut up thin and short to make it look like a few of them. Not just one plate but all 3. Shortage on chicken maybe? For the price charged I would have rather of had a bigger steak.

3rd/4th issues ill save my breath and not write a book.

If I am going to go somewhere weekly and spend $100-$150 bucks for a meal the standards should be a little higher. I could go down the street to any place for less $$. I could ignore the small portions since it typically isn’t like that, bad nights happen, however whoever the server was ( Jeremy possibly?) needs another course on how to treat fellow employees and talk to customers. Bad vibes all around from this fella.

I get to go to Texas Roadhouse once in a while. When I do, it’s a treat. The meal started with Coke Zero, Roll, and Blooming Onions. Delicious, but I was trying to save room for my meal. That was the Combo Appetizer, with Buffalo Wings, Fried Pickles, and Tater Skins. That was just as delicious. My next question is when do I go next time?
UPDATE: June 30, 2023-I finally got to go back! I ordered the Killer Ribs with Steak Fries and Coke Zero. I also had some Blooming Onions and a Roll. It was all delicious! So when do I go back?
UPDATE: October 1, 2023-I went there last night to pick up a mobile order. I ordered Chicken Critters, Steak Fries, and a Diet Coke. They also gave me four rolls, but I was only able to eat one of them. Everything was so delicious! The only complaint was that there was a line at the pick up window outside when I came to pick it up. They could have used more help.
UPDATE: June 21, 2025-I ordered the Pulled Pork Dinner from the app, and I got to choose two sides. I chose the Steak Fries and Sauteed Mushrooms. The meal came with rolls, and I also ordered Lemonade. When I went to pick it up, there was a boy working the pick up window. Do they have any adults working in there working with them? When I got home and was getting my food out, I found there was no Sauteed Mushrooms. Did the boy have something to do with it? I sent an email to them to let them know what happened. I got an email saying they were sending me a coupon for a free meal to make up for what happened. I will hold off a little bit to use it. I heard they ran out of steak and other meats one day.
UPDATE: July 23, 2025-I finally got to use my coupon for a free meal. I ordered the same thing I ordered the last time to make up for not getting one of my sides: The Pulled Pork Dinner with Mashed Potatoes and Gray (no Steak Fries this time), Sauteed Mushrooms, Rolls, and a Coke Zero. In the end, I only had to pay $1.58 for my meal! You can’t get something that cheap at Texas Roadhouse, and it was delicious!

Our food was what you’d expect at a Roadhouse but what made the night special for my husband and I was our server. She was friendly (not too much, not too little), helpful, right there to refill our drinks. I know, everything she’s supposed to do, but she didn’t it all quickly, with a smile on her face, jokes for us, little things that made this date night with my husband wonderful .

Did a mobile order. Got stuck in a traffic jam on 70 due to an accident. Called the store and told them I would not arrive until 10 minutes after they close and they told me they would wait. Got there picked up my food. Everything was perfect, the lady that came to help me was soooo nice and understanding. Thank you Texas Roadhouse my evening could have been so much worse without your help!

Came here about 3 weeks ago we both got steak. 1 of the 2 came out and was ordered medium rare but was very well done. Took two more try’s before we had been there long enough to just settle for close enough. Now again early October, not that busy Sunday evening waitress was extremely forgetful, fried pickles took over 30 mins, then was told they went to the wrong table. Steaks come out same thing again. Ordered medium this time, came out like a piece of leather well done. The next steak was Rare as rare can be. Finally the third one after an hour had went by was right. Waitress and management were alright. Kitchen staff needs some serious work. I don’t understand how a steakhouse can’t get a steak right the first time. Richmond location is one extreme to the other. You’ll have a perfect trip one time and the other be trouble from sit down to leaving.
