Golden Corral was a lot better this time. The food was very much improved, although the chili was scorched from sitting on the hot bar too long. But the meatloaf was great, the stuffing was good as well. But the very nice young lady who was our server made it a great experience. She was open, friendly, attentive and constantly smiling. Felicia deserves a raise.

I love to eat at Golden Corral!
However, this store was one of the best managed Golden Corral restaurants I’ve been in over 20 years!
The staff was very courteous and friendly.
The food bar was well attended and supplied.
The food was exceptionally tasty!
The fried catfish was perfect and the macaroni & cheese was the best!
Our waiter was one the best, most attentive I have seen.
He watched each customer to make sure not one person had to wait for a drink or beverages!
The entire restaurant was very clean!
The owners & management of this location have really set the standard for a well managed & maintained restaurant!!!!
I will make sure that I frequent here every time I am in the Pikeville area!!!!!!

Great food! Wonderful selection. There were some items that ran out on the bar, could’ve replenished them a little quicker given that it wasn’t extremely busy. Also, the steak is not as noticeable as most Golden Corral locations, it can be easily overlooked. Overall good experience, belly is full!

Enjoyed this Golden Coral. Newer than what we have locally. Well designed interior space was clean and well lighted, nice for my older eyes. Buffet was nicely laid out and easy to access. All the employees were nice and quick to respond. Oh, and the food was great. Will stop again when we travel this way.

Sometimes you go and it’s great, sometimes you go and you never wanna go back again. This trays are empty a lot, the ice cream machine is usually out, as well as the caramel. And everyone seems too busy to bother. The waitresses do a great job. Management comes and checks on customers. C-

This is a great little place for a quick dining experience. Excellent staff and service food is always fresh and ready and they will always take care of any needs you have if possible. Restrooms are clean and handicap accessible. Restaurant is very well-lit great wait staff and excellent customer service. One of the best Golden Corral’s I’ve been to!

Overpriced, subpar Sunday meal. The restaurant was crowded which is to be expected. I do not feel like the staff is able to handle the work load with the training and corporate staff gone. We waited for quite some time to get straws from our waitress. Even then she did not greet us, but she just slapped our straws on the table and walked away. Additionally, many food items were not cooked as they usually are and some meal staples, they ran out of and never replaced. A girl who was not our actual waitress would give us refills, and she was actually courteous. The food gave my husband and I stomach aches and we did not want to eat much of it. Unimpressed. It was our third visit to this particular Golden Corral and will likely be the last.
