This Golden Corral has the freshest food. So many choices of vegetables. The yellow squash is delicious. The steak is done to your level of doneness. Just ask. I have been here several times. The latest visit I tried the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and the bread pudding. So good. So much flavor.

Great lunch at Golden Corral in Rock Hill! Everything was fresh and delicious — especially the ham, sweet potatoes with toasted marshmallows, and the best sweet tea. The warm bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was a perfect dessert. They’re also very festive with their décor, including a beautiful Christmas tree that adds a nice touch. Great variety, great value — and don’t forget to download the Golden Corral app to earn points toward a $10 future-meal coupon.

They moved. I thought they were no longer on rock hill. We had the pleasure of going here for Mother’s Day. We went to some many other places but the wait times were ridiculous so we decided to check this place out and it was packed! The front two cashiers were ok i think my mom said something about the young lady have a bad attitude but i didn’t get a chance to see it so i won’t let that take away from my overall review. She didn’t seem that bad when i went back up and asked her a question. They did an excellent job with handling that massive crowd that was there when we got there. The manager was making sure that she got the people in and seated. She even let us go ahead of a lot of people 🙂 lol so i definitely appreciate that. The food was good. It was hot and of course they had plenty to choose from. Everyone in the establishment were happy so that made the experience that much better and our waitress was one of the nicest ladies there. She was so sweet and attentive. Making small talk here and there and checking up on us regularly. We had a great time and we really enjoyed ourselves. Even though i haven’t been in over a decade Ill definitely be going back. Loved the service here.

It’s about $20 for the buffet, and for the volume of food available for consumption that’s a pretty reasonable price. The steak is surprisingly good when you get a good piece, and that’s what I focus on when I go due to the price of beef lol. Where else can you go and eat 2 lb of steak, or more if you’re capable, for 20 bucks including drink? The salad bar is good, they have plenty of vegetables and other side items plus usually fried chicken, a taco station, fried shrimp, bourbon chicken and several other entrees. Even though it’s basically like army food aside from the steak, if you’re hungry you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Then there is the ice cream with hot chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, different toppings or you can make a cone.

Came the other day, that was only my second time going to that location. Neither experience was pleasant. It’s crowed, over priced, the food looked and tasted each time as if it had been sitting out for half the day. The salad bar however was completely on point. Staff wasn’t rude but not necessarily friendly either.

Everything was amazing until the last half an hour of their opening. With Patrons still in the restaurant they closed both the men and the women’s restroom at the same time so they could clean for the end of day. This left a long line for the restrooms during dinner. Cleaning of the facility should happen after a closing.

I’m a veteran and was disappointed with the service I received at the Rock Hill SC location. I also submitted a complaint to corporate and never received a response. Respect and follow-through matter.
I received a call from the Rock Hill, SC Golden Corral management team after a previous negative experience, and they were extremely apologetic and accommodating. They invited my family and me to give them another chance, and today we did. I called ahead to let them know we would be in the area and asked if their offer to make things right still stood. They welcomed us without hesitation.
When we arrived, everything was taken care of just as promised. The management team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated. This visit was completely different from the first, and we truly noticed the effort they put into turning our experience around.
