Recently moved to the area and found this place for a quick lunch. How do you beat rice, four sides, and a cup of broth for $8?! The process is easy: Pay, they give you a tray, then just point to what you want from the buffet—and they’re really efficient!

Coming from a Chinese foodie, this is THE classic AUTHENTIC Chinese comfort food. You pick 4 sides and you’ll receive a side of rice and soup for only $8. The sides rotate on a daily basis and it really could be hit or miss. However, the side of marinated fried fish we got tasted odious and unpleasant.
Would recommend but beware of language barriers.

My colleagues and I come here quite often for lunch. Great portions for affordable price. Get the fried fish, we usually double up on this! So many choices, endless combinations.

The food here is delicious and the price is very reasonable! I paid $8 for 4 sides, white rice, and soup. The staff is also very welcoming and kind.
If there is a language barrier, you can follow these directions. Go to the cashier and let them know which option you’d like (they have papers in the front with prices) and if it’s to stay or to go. Once you pay the cashier, they’ll give you a clean tray with a plate/container. You can then point to which foods you’d like and the ladies will serve you. When you’re done, go back to the cashier’s counter, where they’ll pack up your foods if you’re taking it to go.
