The lady working cash register seemed to be frustrated when I told her i had fish allergy in preparing my beef and chicken bento box. I used to enjoy them as a catered lunch at work and this was my first brick and mortar experience. She tried to charge me for the for vegetable substitution but the chef told her to remove it. I am used to the meat chicken option being flavorful but it was dry. Barely any sauce. The veggie maki roll did not come with pickled ginger or wasabi as custom in most restaurants. The white rice was mushy. The redeeming quality slightly were the dumplings. I was disappointed in the service rendered and food taste quality . Would I revisit, probably not.

We were impressed with the quality and price for the chicken teriyaki and the Yellowtail sushi combo. The food is freshly prepared. The sushi combo satisfied my craving for Yellowtail sushi.
Don’t let the typo on the operating hours listed at the door fool you! On weekends, they open at noon (instead of 2PM) 🙂

The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. Highly recommend the Chicken Shrimp Bento. The food is fresh and tasty although the portion could have a bit more shrimp.

I’m not much of a sushi girl, but we both really enjoyed our food! I think we both spent around $14 for our food and a soda from their drink selection.

Came here while headed to a concert. The place is very clean and bright. The food was out quick and tasted amazing. The sushi was great. The teriyaki beef and chicken was out of this world. You get a lot for what you pay for so it is well worth it. Highly recommend anyone to stop in and try it.

Tori Japan is a great place to pick up lunch if you are in the area! The atmosphere is great and inviting. Music can be a little loud at times though. The staff is super friendly and will make sure you get what you need. The food is amazing as well! The Beef and Shrimp Teriyaki dish is my personal favorite! Definitely will be coming back!

Nice little Japanese takeout, express sit Japanese sushi and teriyaki bento box spot. Friendly staff, better than expected food at a good price. It’s a small spot with only a couple of tables, but worthwhile stop or takeout.
We had several sushi rolls green dragon, rock and roll and volcano. We had chicken and beef bento boxes. My wife didn’t want teriyaki in her chicken and they made it without sauce. It was good and tender. Worthwhile spot.
