My faith in Golden Chick was restored today. After having a terrible experience at the location in Allen, today I gave them another chance at this location. The store was clean and well kept, and the manager very friendly and took our order quickly. The order came out shortly after and even with some bonus dinner rolls, which was a very nice gesture by the manager.
The food at this restaurant is 5 star for sure. The fried chicken and chicken tenders were golden, crispy, and juicy, and the portions very satisfying. The sides we got were also great with the fries being hot and crisp, the coleslaw refreshing and cool. And the dinner rolls are truly something special.
Overall experience was great with the food, service, and environmen all worthy of the store’s already high rating, and this is one location I would recommend in earnest.

The service was great for me. I always come on my lunch break and they always give me my food fast and I never have a problem. Food is great quality, hot and fresh. Gloria was very friendly, and efficient with my order. I love this golden chick and would recommend anyone to come here.

Our kids really enjoy golden chick often. We stopped at this location to dine in for the first time and it did not disappoint. Irma was very nice and inviting. She really took great care of us during our meal. The dining room and restrooms were very clean also!! We will be back! 10/10. Recommend.

This was not the best experience when visiting this location, and I hope management takes the time to address it.
I pulled up to the drive-through to place my order, and the heavier-set employee taking my order over the intercom was rushing me while I was still trying to decide. I finished ordering and pulled up to the window, but what happened next was very concerning.
The employee sneezed into his hands and then immediately proceeded to handle my drink and food without washing or sanitizing his hands. Watching someone touch my order right after sneezing was extremely unsanitary and honestly very disgusting.
Because of this, I didn’t feel comfortable consuming the food and ended up wasting my money. Basic hygiene and food safety should be a priority at any restaurant, especially when handling customers’ food.
I’m hoping management sees this and addresses the issue with staff regarding proper food handling and sanitation.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to give a shoutout to Alexis in the drive-thru. He’s always the one helping me and he’s honestly great every time. Super quick, really nice, and always gets my order right. I actually hope he’s working whenever I pull up. Makes the whole experience better.

Golden Chick is just the best place! Love the food. The tenders were fresh, and also the French fries. I will definitely come here often to be able to try those delicious Funnel Cakes especially. The restaurant was so clean the service was wonderful.

Ordered the fried fish via Uber Eats. The fish was so hard all you could taste was cornmeal, no fish. I eaten there many times and had this meal and their chicken many times. But this time it was horrible, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Very disappointed. Will notify Uber Eats.
