We love the Gold Water Cafe. Jimmy and I would eat there every day if we could afford it! I started taking my dog for rides to get our “coffee and toast” when I’m on home time and it’s always been a very good experience. We got to try their food which I have been anticipating for a hot minute now. Tried the Turkey sandwich with the pepperccinis and other toppings, and it was outstanding! Jimmy even got a pup cup with bacon in it with his toast as a surprise! Lucky boy. Thank you for doing that Gold Water Cafe. We brought the other piece of toast home for his sisters. I love the personable staff here and will continue to come by as often as I can. If you’re up here in the neighborhood of Florissant/ Lake George Colorado, don’t miss out on this gem. The also have a fly shop attached to it. Perfect to get your coffee before you head out to the river or lake.

We had a great experience and enjoyed a tasty smothered burrito and a 1/2 order of the biscuits and gravy. The service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere gave off cozy cabin vibes. If you are a fishing in the area and would enjoy a quick yet delicious breakfast, lunch or both – I highly recommend stopping in at the cafe! We will definitely be back when we’re back in the area.

Great clean building and the staff, a cook and the owner, we’re super friendly and nice. Breakfast served all day. I had the eggs bene. Awesome. They own the fly shop too, so have some breakfast and talk fishing with the owner. I’ll be back!

So wonderful! Stopped here for breakfast on our travels homeward and so glad we did. The minute you walk in, greeted with a warm welcome, coffee and food all super delicious.
Recommend biscuits and gravy + smothered chile burrito. Cozy inside with wonderful staff, they work really well together.

Dave has done an outstanding job with his entry into the restaurant business along side his fly fishing stop. Easily the best Rueben sandwich we have ever had, along with outstanding brisket tacos and impressive salads to accompany them. The cappuccinos were also 5 star as he listened to us and gave the 8 oz strong cappuccino we were hoping for. Take the time to stop, you won’t be disappointed!

Delicious food and coffee along with excellent service. No one has better coffee cake, no one! They’ll hear it up and drizzle caramel on it for you, too. My favorite entree is the avocado toast but the breakfast burrito is my husband’s favorite. We love this little gem of a cafe!
