We went to this restaurant randomly over the long weekend, but we didn’t wait for a second. We liked the experience and hospitality. The chive pancakes were free as taste samplers with in house made soy milk (forgot to take pictures though). My favorite was the whole branzino, but be careful of the dipping sauce was EXTREMELY spicy. The omelette crab was my second favorite, which tastes very fresh. The Tom yuk soup was way too spicy for me.

This has quickly become my favorite Thai restaurant in the city, and it’s not even close.

The movie theater theme is a fun touch, but the food is the real star. From the moment we sat down, the warm complimentary unsweetened soy milk set a great tone , simple, thoughtful, and delicious. The chive cake was incredibly flavorful, and the hamachi ceviche is an absolute must-order: bright, sour, and layered with flavor. The grilled branzino was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with a spicy, tangy sauce that made every bite crave the next.

But the noodles are what will bring me back. The wagyu noodle soup is among the best I’ve had in the city, the wagyu is so tender it practically melts on contact. The tom yum soup is right there with it, bold and well-balanced, and full of seafood.

Solid service throughout, and the pricing is genuinely reasonable for the quality you’re getting. A rare find. Highly recommend.

Godunk Thai was a genuinely impressive dining experience. The space has a warm, cinematic atmosphere, dim lighting, cozy seating, and a calm energy that makes the meal feel intentional rather than rushed.

We ordered a range of dishes, and everything showed strong character and depth of flavor. The Had Yai fried chicken was beautifully executed! The skin was crispy and juicy inside, and the top was covered with fragrant fried shallots. The Kra Prow beef delivered bold, authentic Thai flavors with aromatic basil, garlic, and chilies. The dry suki was rich and satisfying, with glass noodles soaking up the savory sauce perfectly alongside shrimp and pork belly.

The Hunglay pork was another highlight! It was tender, slow-braised, and deeply flavorful with a slightly sweet, spiced profile. The Choo Chee prawn brought a creamy, aromatic curry element that balanced the meal nicely. Even the puff tofu was excellent, light, crispy, and great for dipping.

Flavors were layered, portions generous, and everything paired perfectly with a cold beer. Godunk feels like a thoughtful interpretation of Thai street food with real depth and care.

Would absolutely return.

Absolutely loved this place! Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The boat noodles had a rich, comforting broth with tender slices of meat and crispy pork that added the perfect texture. The fried rice was fragrant, fluffy, and full of wok hei, and the crispy bites on the side were addictively crunchy with the dipping sauce.

Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were generous. Mindy’s Service was friendly and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to when I’m craving Thai

New favorite restaurant, everything was so authentic and flavorful, and service was amazing. Louisa our server was soo kind and attentive. Also learned everything down to the mangos are imported from Thailand. The cherry on top was the ambience and old school movie theme. They play classic movies on the projector!

Got the eternal sunshine cocktail, puffed rice salad, hamachi ceviche, pok pok noodles, and the spicy beef entree (blanking on the name), and mango sticky rice. Everything 1000000/10!

Today is the last day of the year and we decided to have our meal at GOdunk. It turned out to be such a great choice. The restaurant isn’t overcrowded, the tables are well-spaced, and the atmosphere is really nice. The staff were wonderful — we were taken care of by Rita, who was very sweet, attentive, and gave us excellent recommendations. She even asked if we had any food allergies, which made us feel really well looked after. And everything she recommended was truly delicious — exactly as described.

I highly recommend this place. The flavors are authentic, perfect for Thai taste buds and enjoyable for foreigners too. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Great dining experience!

Tyler provided excellent service—he was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations that genuinely made me want to try the dishes he suggested.

The food was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the dry suki, and the desserts were amazing as well.

Also, Pun delivered great customer service. When serving the food, he kindly explained the dishes again, was very polite, and always had a bright, friendly smile. He really helped make the overall atmosphere of the restaurant even better.

Highly recommend this place!

Came here during happy hour and really enjoyed the experience. The Love Rosie cocktail was refreshing and well balanced, not too sweet and easy to drink. The hamachi ceviche tasted very fresh with bright, tangy flavors, and the crispy calamari was light and crunchy, perfect to snack on. For mains, the kra prow beef was flavorful with a nice level of heat, while the wok of 3 stinky was bold and very authentic, definitely for those who enjoy strong Thai flavors. The 4X100 fried rice was great for sharing, packed with seafood and super satisfying.
