I wish I could give this place 10 stars because from the moment I walked in I knew the food was gone be bussin. My first time trying this place today and let me tell you the food is amazingly delicious. Everything was on point, the oxtails, Mac and cheese, the yams, cabbage and cornbread. That reggae punch on another level of good. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well as the customer service. I even got my husband to try the food which was a shock because he’s very picky. We definitely will be back!!!!!

I love Caribbean food period!!! My friend purchased surf & turf fries.. she was the shrimp should’ve been seasoned more. I purchased the cheese fries, lobster/shrimp quesadilla, & jerk chicken egg rolls. Everything was good I couldn’t eat it all! I would like the egg rolls to have a thicker, crunchier crust but all in all I really liked it. My dad ate my leftovers & he thoroughly enjoyed! I spent around ~$30 and there were very huge portions & this place nice customer service. I will return again & hope to try the location in flowood.

We were in town for a funeral. One of the employees at the funeral home highly recommended this place. It took us a minute to be seated. Once seated, we sat for almost 7 minutes, workers walking past our table but never acknowledging us. The hostess who sat us gave us menus and was very personable. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. It’s absolutely terrible service to let your guests sit for that long, and never once saying anything is horrible!

I’m not sure why they advertise as a Jamaican restaurant. Because the food does not taste Caribbean at all. It tastes no different than when me or my Aunt makes oxtails. Except not as tender. The ribs weren’t very tender and I didn’t care for the sweet coating they use. I guess I’ll have to wait until I go back home to FL to get the Caribbean food. Even GA has a few Jamaican restaurants that taste like Caribbean food.

Horrible! Got a sampler and paid 17 dollars for four wings and 5 shrimps! I substituted the egg rolls because they were out and this what I ended up with. KeAmber does not know how to take a basic order and would not allow me to place a take out order over the phone because I refused to give me credit information. Need to just shut the restaurant down.

I am not from here but for me to pay $86 online and my pick up order was for 7:30pm, I ended up going to wrong “Godfrey” so I tried to call to let them know that I was on the way 3 times the line was busy when I got there it was 8:01pm and it was closed… I would of have though someone would of have called to see if I was coming or refund my money back. Hopefully I get my money back when they open.

All I can say is WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL. The food is excellent. The customer service excellent. I had the Turkey Wings with rice and beans and cabbage. OMG it was so good. I had enough to have another meal the next day. It was a little spicy but it was tolerable. The staff are very friendly and you feel welcomed. Friendly spirited people. Love, Love, Love this place.

I’ve been to Godfrey’s many times but this is my first time at this location. The decor is very nice inside and the service is basic. I had the coconut shrimp and they were terrible. They were very salty and it seemed like they were fried in a heavy batter for like pork chops or something. I could look at it and tell I wasn’t going to like them. I had them many times before so I know that they are normally good.
