I love the Gobbler’s Knob! Cindy, the owner and her team (shout out to Ashley) took great care of us! It is a welcoming family place that knows how to treat people! I had a sour old-fashioned while waiting for our table to be ready and our order to be cooked. It was delicious! The broasted chicken is spectacular. The salad bar is super diverse and has everything you would want to make a very tasty salad… Try the hot bacon dressing! On our day, there was beautiful tomato soup and French onion soup. Both were delicious. They have a “ all you can eat broasted chicken option … And for a few extra dollars you could go “all dark“ or “all white” but I recommend you get the four piece broasted chicken dinner that includes all you can eat salad, bar, and soup… After all it’s two dollars less than that all you can eat, and who can really eat more than four giant pieces of broasted chicken anyways?
I had some chocolate pudding for dessert. That was very tasty as well!
The crowd is friendly. Parking is easy and the service is wonderful!

Supper Club Tour #6
Tonight we traveled about 45 minutes south of Green Bay to try out Gobblers Knob.
To start I had a J. Henry Rye Whiskey Old Fashioned diet sweet. Really wish that it was muddled
They have a nice sized salad bar which has two soup options as well as warm rolls. They also have a warm bacon dressing!
Both of the soups, Lemon Chicken and Beef and Potato, were very flavorful. The beef in the Beef and Potato soup was like chunks of leftover hamburger patties. It wasn’t bad, just not what was expected.
The fried haddock (lg portion) was four pieces and served with choice of potato. The batter was crispy and thin, but the fish overall lacked flavor. The potato that was ordered was hashbrowns which were like the ones you get from McDonald’s (which isn’t a bad thing at all).
The perch had a nice light cornmeal breading and came with two butterflies.
The baked haddock was overcooked but was seasoned well. It came with a loaded baked potato (just cheese, bacon and sour cream). You can get a stuffed baked potato which has mushrooms, onions, bacon and cheese.
The tartar sauce was exceptional and was one of the best we’ve had. It had a slight sweetness to it.
The ribeyes are thin and seasoned but could use maybe a touch more seasoning.
Overall it was a nice place and if you live close by, worth it.
Staff was extremely friendly, fast and personable. You can tell it is a local favorite and gives you Cheers vibes when you walk in.

Gave this place a second chance. Called to see if they take reservations, was told first come first serve. Not true! We arrived when they opened at 4pm. Got number 4. As we sit waiting people are coming in and ordering to go food and getting that well before we even were asked to put our order in. Sitting there for a good 40 minutes they jumped to number 11. Take their order and get them to table. No one even asks us for our order. You are not first come first serve. You are serve the regulars!. Never should have wasted time with this place. Great way to ruin your Friday.

This place was awesome. I loved the atmosphere of the whole place. Even though there was a wait, you got to wait at a bar with good seating. Once you got called back, it was in a small homey feeling room with personal service. The food was fantastic! I can’t wait to go back one day.

The service was great! Bartender, great! The steaks, however, were terrible. “Tan” not grilled, no maillard effect. Ayce broasted chicken is salty, but tasted okay.The salad bar was tasty, with lots of options!

Way back when the Knob was referred to as the Gobbler on the hill for its silhouette just off of the Milwaukee to Madison freeway corridor. Great atmosphere there- quite a showplace as well.
The bar area immediately after the main entrance was a view like no other. The smallish wall windows surrounded uou like a slow moving kaleidoscope as thd sun set. Quite a place- let’s hope that it cones ’round once more.
Chridtmastime was the epitome of the feasting year- and the Knob made it feel like a Scandinavian/Germanic party had dropped by to favor the place- quite an ensemble.

One of our go to favorite restaurants, a bit out of the Fox Valley but worth the drive. Small place where they take your order at the bar. Service is always outstanding and prices are reasonable! Food always delicious and love the salad bar. We’ve tried many different dishes here and have never been disappointed.

Need to get there early. Only 12 tables in the dining room. Very friendly staff, however my husband ordered a ribeye, said was good but needed a little more seasoning. I had scallops and also good but needed some garlic. No salad bar, bar is small and very busy when we came out of the dining room
