The grilled meat on Vermicelli Noodles was dry. Overall their food was bland for our taste, it would have been better if they had condiments on the table like other Asian restos. We are 3 adults with 2 small kids. We ordered 3 items and we had to ask for bowls and soup spoons when it’s obvious that we’re gonna share. We even end up not finishing the Pad Thai. It’s an okay experience but there are better Asian restos.

The spicy Pho bowl was super flavourful. Broth was pretty yummy. Not too impressed with grilled lemongrass pork though. I could not taste the lemongrass profile and salad (carrot) lacked the crunch that I was used to.

I went in at 11 am, the vibes were great and the service was fast and friendly. However, my grilled chicken bahn mi was subpar :/ The veggies were super fresh and yummy, I love how much cilantro they add, but the bread and chicken were pretty dry. More sauce might’ve masked it, but I wonder if the bread and chicken were from the previous day 🙁 Try later in the day, hopefully all components would be fresh.

Unfortunately, the pho didn’t quite meet my expectations. The noodles were stuck together, and the overall flavor was lacking. On a brighter note, the fried spring rolls were enjoyable, but the chicken was dry and a bit bland. The tapioca pearls in the bubble tea were also hard and flavorless, which was disappointing. Overall, while there were some redeeming elements, the main dishes fell short.

This is seriously the best Vietnamese food in Victoria/west shore. I’ve saved writing this review until I’ve tried it over ten times in a span of a year. Its quality of food and service is top. There are no cheap short cuts that you can find in some Vietnamese restaurants. I’ve tried had other favorites in town but their quality has gone way down. And some others just microwave everything that’s been grilled the day(s) before.
The name of this place always threw me off from trying it tbh. But once I did, I felt terrible that I held off going there for so long. Can’t recommend them enough.

Has potential to be good but fell short. I tried their largest Vietnamese submarine in town $9 cold cuts (assorted) and Vietnamese style ice coffee $4.
The banh mi was dry and disappointing. The bread tasted a day too old and in need of a bit of Maggie sauce and more liver patty. The cold cuts and preserve vegetables were good. 2/5 ⭐⭐

My friend ordered the banh mi and agreed with me with how we felt. His papaya salad was okay not the worst or best he had elsewhere.
The decore looks homie and welcoming. I believe the owner server us and he was friendly and quick. I think if they worked on adding a little more flavor, spices, seasonings and the little details to their food. This could be a great place to go but right now it’s passable and okay.

Delicious PHO, affordable, spectacular refined ambiance with nice soothing jazz on. Thank god for restaurants who choose not to play annoying auto-tune top 40s garbage!! I will be coming back!!! Great service! Came during the day but i can tell they have warm soft lighting for the evening!

Just a blob of noodle. Went 5 mins down the road to get home to needing a fork and knife to cut the noodles from the one big block of noodle. Called and said would talk to the owner, but nothing else since they closed at 8pm. Not satisfied at all.

I had a great sit down lunch here today. The restaurant is definitely open for dine in, and their hours are correct as posted on the listing. The food was excellent and the coffee was delicious. I highly recommend eating here especially during the pandemic when businesses need our support. Their Covid-19 precautions would make Dr Bonnie Henry proud. The service was great too!
