I normally drive all the way to Kansas to get go chicken go. I don’t know if they have changed ownership but today was a big disappointment at that location. I guess today is get rid of the old chicken first cause that’s exactly how this chicken looks. If I wasn’t so tired from driving on the road I would throw this chicken right through the front door.

It’s a No No on the Go Chicken Go.
I am truly not sure how this place has a 4.4, unless the people who eat here have absolutely never eaten fried chicken anywhere else in their entire lives.
We are from out of town and wanted to try local. Ordered wings and thighs. As soon as I grabbed a thigh, I immediately said the chicken smelled funny. It’s definitely not fresh and the texture taste like gas station chicken, except I’ve had way better chicken from a gas station, so I don’t want to disrespect the good ones. Its texture is like chicken that has been kept under a heat lamp too long. The smell and the taste got worse with every bite and even more intense closer to the bone.
The mashed potatoes were so thick and stiff and the “gravy” tasted like old grease and water. No seasoning no flavor no love went into this food.
The only saving grace was the corn on the cob. Perfectly cooked, nice flavor.

Every time I go to this location, I get cold, old chicken and barely any gravy in my mashed potatoes. When you try to be polite to the 3 women, they just look at you like you’re crazy. These wonderful comments I see must be from the daytime crew because I’ve only gone in the evening and the food has always been old.

I ordered online for a family meal. And I asked if there was some G sauce and I did not receive none at all. There service was fine and all but not making sure your customers asked for something and not having it, is not ok because I’m customer service your customers come firstyou got out your way to make them happy and I don’t receive it. It might be petty to everyone else but if your employee says something that it is and it’s not, not cool just make sure your customers have everything they ask for.

We were driving through Kansas City, so we decided to search for chicken joints and found this one rated very highly. We have no idea why it is rated so highly. It was flavorless and was quite dry and poor. The place we went to was busy, so it wasn’t old chicken. I guess I had to grow up in KC in order to think it was good.

The chicken tastes dirty. It seemed hot and fresh, with a good crunch, I can’t deny that, but it was in desperate need of salt as well. The staff were perfect and fast! I hoped it would be an amazing local joint, but I suppose I need to just stick with the big 3 instead. Try it though.
