Food is well made and set at a good price. I got each flavor of the Salvadorian Enchiladas, chicken, beef, and veggie. The chicken was my favorite and go-to now but none were bad especially with the two different sauces they brought out with the dish.

Delicious pupusa and tamales. Very friendly service and loved the atmosphere. It was quite busy when I went and there were only 2 servers, so the service was a bit slow. But the servers try really hard and the service was amazing.

Lovely outdoor seating makes this a great lunch place. The pupusas are delicious, as are the tacos and tamarind and horchata drinks. The flan makes an excellent dessert.

A wonderful place. Some of the best guacamole and salsa I’ve ever had. And one of the best margaritas. Nice touch that the chips are ever so lightly salted. I had the shrimp and chorizo pupusas. They were amazing. Finished things off with a delicious chicken tamale wrapped in banana leaf. My dining partner had carne guisada. You have to try the jalapeno sauce. It comes in a squeeze bottle. If you’re in Staunton and they’re open, you have to stop.

This was my first time trying pupusas and they were pretty good! I ordered the chorizo and cheese and they were fire I also ordered the carne guisada and it was good but not really worth it for the price. $15 for two little pieces of meat and a few stewed vegetables. $7-8 would’ve made more sense. The horchata was good. Fried plantains and beans were good. Overall, decent place, the prices are just a little much for the amount of food you get.

OMG!!! I have to rave about this place, 5.5 stars if I could! Gloria’s is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in years! All around, it was a sensational experience (first time/first time eating Salvadoran cuisine; but won’t be my last, for sure!), from the moment I walked in from my 150 mile motorcycle ride, John, the co-owner (with the now very revered Gloria) and bartender, warmly greeted me and set me up with a booth; my server, Andrea (pronounced with a long-‘a’); and tastes of two local beers, which I was torn to decide! But I did: the roasted pecan brown ale – so good, BTW! Next, my immediate and lasting experience of their restaurant’s interior appearance and style = upbeat, colorful, spacious, inviting and exquisite! Then, shortly after sitting down and sipping my flavorful suds, the very courteous and friendly Andrea greeted me, answered my questions about the menu/pupusas, and then took my order (I initially ordered the Loca and Chorizo pupusas – outstanding with the mild green and red sauces). Later, after an order of plantains, I tried the Loroco pupusa infused with a Central American edible flower BY FAR MY FAVORITE OF THE THREE, a unique flavor explosion {but not to diminish the other two, because they were excellent too!}!, and lastly ordered a fresh brewed strong coffee with Gloria’s flan – perfect/yummy!). I admit, it’s kind of hard to place what I so very much liked about Gloria’s, but everything was basically perfect and good. Tremendous experience overall, the atmosphere was light, relaxed, pleasant and casual. I will definitely go out of my way to dine here again. It received 4.8 stars, and Gloria, John and the entire staff definitely have earned it. Bravo!!! Gloria’s!!!

Finally got to check out Gloria’s sit-down restaurant. I came here in a Wednesday night and it was busy and buzzing with locals. It’s great to see people rallying around a local treasure.
