Absolutely Great food. Building itself could use some cleaning. Got the german breakfast and the bacon cheeseburger. They were great. The sausage gravy is exceptional.
Would definitely be back if i were in the area.

Excellent little diner in Vincennes found using Google Maps. This place is a favorite amongst the locals. They say they are known for their biscuits and gravy and I know why. It is delicious. The service here is great with very friendly people. The restaurant has a very retro feel reminding me of diners from the 70’s. There is plenty of free parking around the building itself.

Stopped in for Sunday breakfast. They were very busy the whole time we were there. We lucked out and got parking right at the entrance door thanks to someone leaving just as we arrived. We had to wait for the open table to be cleaned so we could be seated. So you’d think that being that busy on a Sunday morning during church hours would be a good sign. Well, turns out that maybe being that busy isn’t a good thing.
The waitress took our order and brought our drinks. Then it was a long wait. There’s only maybe 10 tables/booths inside and it was just us and another booth that didn’t have food yet. They did have a couple pick-up orders to manage as well. The kitchen area must be pretty small because it seems they can only take care of one order at a time.
When our order finally did arrive it wasn’t complete. We had to remind the waitress of the missing items from our order. I got the German breakfast with half order of biscuits and gravy and my wife got the #2 breakfast meal with pancakes. It was a lot of food for the price. I don’t know what’s “German” about the German breakfast. It’s nothing like what I had in 2.5 years of living in Germany. The veggies in the dish are obviously canned because they had that nasty tin after taste to them. The meat was either overly salted or not at all. The biscuits was actually just one undercooked biscuit (not homemade) split in twain and covered in sausage gravy. Honestly, none of it tasted good and the canned veg left a nasty after taste that also upset my stomach somewhat.
My wife’s meal was mediocre at best. The scrambled eggs weren’t fluffy. The German potatoes were undercooked and not seasoned. The pancakes, though nice and thick, were also undercooked in the middle.
I’m hoping that this lack of quality is due to them being busy, but not using fresh vegetables prepared for service can’t be excused when they obviously came from a can. So, if you’re looking for a lot of food for relatively cheap prices then this might be your place. However, beware that this condition might also come with lower quality ingredients and prep.

Great little spot. Food was awesome, crispy bacon biscuits and gravy were delicious. Came in on a busy Sunday morning so had to wait a bit but it was worth it! We were sat immediately and had coffee while we waited for our food. Service was prompt and friendly. Clean place, nice atmosphere.

We didn’t get to actually eat here because they were closing early since it’s Christmas eve.My girls seen three cats hanging close by and this guy came out and was so friendly and he even went back in and got the girls some scraps to feed the cats. My girls loved it andi thought it was so nice of that guy to come out and do that.

I have gotten food multiple times, and so far every single time has been wrong. Today, I got 6 orders of biscuits and gravy that I didn’t order. They made us take the food back and they took it back through the window into the store. They also left it sitting on the counter and then it disappeared. That is highly gross and against the health department’s codes as you cannot take food back that has left the restaurant. They offered me a refund just to turn around and charge me another $30 for the food they messed up. This is the second time I have received 6 orders of biscuits and gravy. The “owner” wouldn’t even handle it and made his staff handle it all. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Visiting those small Mom and Pop shops again led me to breakfast at GlennO’s Corner Cafe this morning. Parking was adequate for the size of the establishment, which fills up quick! We arrived and were told we could sit anywhere. We chose a booth in the corner. Had our utensils and menus dropped off and drink orders taken. Drinks came in 1 to 2 minutes. Placed our order. Menu is simple with enough options to satisfy almost anyone. Our food order was out in around 10 minutes. I was offered my coffee freshened up multiple times. Food was good. The pancakes are really good. Biscuits and gravy were also good. Eggs (medium) were cooked properly, there was a piece of egg shell in mine, but who hasn’t done that themselves? Waitstaff was friendly. All in all this was a pleasant experience and I enjoyed visiting a new local eatery. I say this is worth your time to give it a try.
For some reason I cannot reply to the comment by GlennO’s. So I will edit this review and explain the 4 star rating. I rated 4 stars because the Hashbrown patty my daughter got was very greasy or “wet” and cool inside. I didn’t leave that in the first review because I don’t feel that would be a common problem. Therefore I omitted that from the first review. Also..5 stars from me means something was fantastic, to me. Which is subjective. So 4 stars is a really good rating.

I ordered the Glenno’s #5 and a half order of sausage and gravy biscuits. The food was very good. It arrived quickly and the wait staff did a great job of helping each other out. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

Really good cafe in Vincennes Indiana. It has that homey country cafe feeling with well decorated atmosphere, amazing employees, and their food is amazing and fairly priced (Cheese Omelet is one of my favorites!). If you’re in the area I would highly recommend giving it a try.
