This is hand’s down my favorite place for breakfast. The food is great. I usually get some sort of a combo. Bacon, egg, hash browns, toast, etc. If I’m really hungry I go for a Hungry Man’s Breakfast, which is just about every option. And the prices are great! It’s been a little while since I’ve been there but the hungry man used to be $7 and some change! Well, well worth it, and I’m sure if it went up it hasn’t been much. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for breakfast, except maybe their sister restaurant Reynolds Garden Cafe. I can’t stress this enough, next time you’re going out for breakfast, give Glendale Garden Cafe a chance!

Awesome wait staff, the young ladies kept everything moving making sure drinks were filled and making sure they checked on you to see if everything was okay. I appreciate that they also had a young man that was very good at keeping the tables clean when customers left and cleaning the chairs so they wipe down everything pretty good to see. Very nice size portion of food they give you so you will enjoy the meal and walk away.

Food was decent and well proportioned. Atmosphere was good. Staff were all accommodating and friendly. Only problem for me was that what you spend according to the menu And what it actually costs to clear your bill are miles apart. Including mandatory gratuity. Never seen it done like this and I personally don’t like it.

Glendale Garden Cafe has been my go to breakfast spot while in Toledo for a while. It had been a while since we’ve been here so we we’re a little confused when we showed up at the old location and it had moved. We drove 3 minutes down the street and were surprisingly happy. The new location was nicer from the outside and had much better amenities than the old location. The menu was still just as awesome as was the food. Today we were even offered free cake, although I questioned in my head how old it actually was. This place is all around great, don’t visit Toledo without giving it a try.
