Giuseppe’s is the best Italian restaurant in the North Shore area. The food, service, and cozy atmosphere have brought us back for multiple visits. During our most recent visit, we ordered a lovely bottle of wine served by our spectacular waitress, Jess. She provided us with outstanding service and made suggestions throughout our meal.

My husband and I were on vacation and found this restaurant in our search for Italian food. This was our first visit but we will definitely go back when on vacation again. There are lots of good choices on the menu. My husband had meat lasagna and I had cheese ravioli with a side of meatballs. The food was delicious. We started off with bread and salad before the entrees. Our waitress was friendly and we chatted with her a bit as we were from out of the area. We found the prices very reasonable. Our bill total was $72 which included a drink for us both.

I had lunch and it was fine. The hostess was very friendly. I ate a marinated calamari appetizer which was good and a large portion. For my meal I got the classic Italian sandwich which was ok. The bread was more of a generic commercial roll vs a ciabatta or pane casereccio and the meats didn’t have the spectrum or diversity I enjoy in a good sandwich. Service was slow. Price was fair.

We sat at the bar with Kristin F and she was by far the sweetest and most attentive bartender we have ever had. Her drinks were also phenomenal and she timed our food perfectly from when we were just finishing our salads. The food was also incredible. The balsamic vinaigrette we had on our salad was definitely homemade and the red sauce on our Parms was zesty and flavorful, but not acidic. Coming from an Italian girl who works in the field believe me when I say that this place is a 10/10. We will absolutely be back!

This restaurant is very authentic. The sauce is better than grandma’s and the pasta is fresh. The baby arugula salad is spectacular. Fresh buratta, homemade ricotta, pesto, and its goes on. The market has great selections for a charcuterie. I have been coming to this restaurant an market since it opened and the new owners stayed true to its beloved tradition.

Went here for the first time tonight. The staff were rally nice and did a great job taking care of us. Restaurant seemed clean and maintained. Unfortunately the food was a bit lackluster. My meal tasted alot like chef boyardee. My wife’s meal was better than mine only issue was that there seem to hot and cold spots throughout the plate. Kinda like it was microwaved. All in all it was a very mid experience. Cant say I would go back any time soon, but who know maybe the kitchen was just having an off night.

What happened? I think ownership changed a while back but we’ve had great meals in the past. Recently however we were disappointed in both entrees ordered. The chicken marsala was downright strange with chunks of chicken (wasn’t it either cutlet or medallions before?) in a sour-tasting sauce with a few slices of mushrooms and carrots. There was so little sauce that the pasta was basically dry, but the sauce was so weird it didn’t matter. We didn’t finish it. The lasagna tasted like the stuff from the can with the fat chef on it. Dessert was decent. Hope it was a bad day for the kitchen and not the new norm.
