I like my first deep dish pizza here. We also tried bbq chicken wings here. Chicken wings is juicy and pizza is savory. Small size pizza is enough for 3 of us.

Watery pizza, probably from being frozen and put right in the oven. Manager wouldn’t come speak with us directly about it. Had the waitress explain that it was because of mozzarella being freshly cut that morning. Didn’t want go argue or cause a scene so we paid and left.

So… if you are not in a hurry, you should really check this place out. Mind that all we selected today was the deep dish meat pizza. That thing is AMAZING! The staff is friendly, but the only reason this is not a 5 star review is that after getting the pizza pie, we really didn’t see our waitress until check time. She was friendly otherwise. They will tell you that the wait will be approximately 45 minutes… this is accurate as the pizzas are very thick… and full of cheese. My wife found this place on the internet as we were looking for new places to go to. We traveled 4 hours, and weren’t disappointed.. not that everyone would want to travel that far. Great job folks!

Solid deep dish for the area. They are trying to cut out wait staff, but haven’t quite figured out how. The staff was working super hard to make it work. They should all get extra hook ups or raises as they tried to run table service as quick service without enough staff. Consider ordering ahead of time and taking it carry out if possible. I hope they stay open as it is a great location and good food.

Pretty good overall! The pizza was great, the service was awesome and fast, but the garlic cheese sticks were okay. The cheese sticks weren’t cooked all the way to where we were still able to feel the individual pieces of grated cheese in the middle instead of it being melted. Aside from the cheese sticks the pizza tasted awesome (Chicago style deep dish)

This is the best, I moved to Florida, and pizza is terrible there with a few exceptions, but do not miss out on Chicago style deep-dish. Warning, it takes a good 45 minutes to bake, but worth every minute of the wait. I will continue to return to the Midwest if only to get fresh baked pizza pies. I already want to go back for another while I’m writing this.

Stopped off to try “The Special” Chicago-style Deep Dish pizza. Read online that Giordano’s was one of the best Chicago-style pizzerias in Illinois, and those reviews were correct! Not gonna lie, I’ve eaten plenty of pizza in my life and this pizza is a strong contender for the best I’ve ever had.
One star ding on the atmosphere for the music in the place was a bit too loud for having easy conversation at the table.

The food was mediocre at best. The bruschetta was absolutely amazing but the pizza we ordered had raw dough throughout the whole thing. The only reason it’s getting a 4 star is because the manager made everything right by cooking it longer and giving a discount. The staff were very kind.

So, I have never had a Chicago style pizza pie before coming to IL. I was definitely missing out. Wow. So glad people pointed me to Giordano’s. I got a thin crust small pizza and a small Chicago style pizza. Both are awesome. The cheese is so good and there is plenty of it on the thin crust pizza. No need for extra cheese. The Chicago pizza is amazing. I used a knife and fork to eat it as it is so thick. The crust is flaky and done just right. Just simply the best pizza pie I have ever had. The price is higher than what I am use to paying but we’ll worth it. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I highly recommend.

Ordered margherita pizza and Italian beef aranchini appetizer to go. Arrived 10 minutes before the order was supposed to be done. My hotel is 5 minutes from the restaurant–when I opened the box I found the basil was left off the pizza and it was room temperature. The appetizer was steaming hot but the pizza had clearly been sitting for awhile, and not even in a warmer! The bottom crust was barely done, super doughy, very reminiscent of frozen grocery store pizza. I ended up eating 2 small corner pieces and throwing the rest out. Super disappointed and won’t be returning.
