Being new to the area, local friends recommended Sally’s for Chinese food. We opted for delivery which is often the more risky option. In this case, we were completely satisfied & happy with the quality, friendly phone reception, & speedy friendly delivery service. The $3 delivery charge is fair and I’m happy to pay it so long as it & our direct tip goes to the staff. Good job, guys!

We ordered the Spicy Chicken and Shrimp, Pork Lo Mein, and Hot & Sour soup. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. It all tasted excellent . Additionally, the quantity of food is enormous. These 2 entrees and 1 large soup will easily yield 4-6 servings filling a large dinner plate (see our picture). The only issue was the Hot & Sour Soup wasn’t temperature hot upon delivery. But that was easily re-heated here at home. The flavor of the soup was spot on and reminded us of the mom & pop shops in Queens, NY. We can always tell a good Chinese restaurant by tasting its Hot & Sour soup!

We can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

Here is a more recent menu from our takeout trip tonight (as of Dec 2025.) Awesome local spot. We did not call ahead and we were in and out in 10min or less

It’s a good restaurant in a gas station but the food is very yummy. Price is good. Lots of people come in just for their to-go orders. This restaurant has been here for a long time, like many many years. It must be good to stay this long.

This was our first time trying this place and the food was cooked to order. The quality was ok, only thing is the wontons barely had anything in them and they were $8. I got here right when they opened so they didn’t have any customers and it did take about a 30 minute wait to get my food. I give this place a 6/10. Maybe it was an off day for them since all i hear is great things about this place but my experience wasnt the greatest.

We ordered from Sally’s Kitchen from their website which showed entrees as $9 or $9.50 for most. When I arrived to pick it up, they told me the cost was $75 for 5 entrees. This is way more than $9/entree.

The young man who checked me out said under his breath, “you’ve been duped, I suggest you take this paper menu for next time”. The young man did not seem confident in the management of this store and you could tell he wanted to say more but didn’t because everyone turned around when I asked why it cost so much.

I then called when I got home. When I asked to speak to the manager, the lady said he was not there. She also told me that someone from Facebook posted this info online and that she doesn’t not maintain a website. I was not looking at anything from Facebook but an actual website from Sally’s Kitchen. She also told me she “doesn’t have time” to update the info online. So, do you have a website with wrong info or do you not? I’m confused. I later found the true menu attached to my Google search, but the website attached to this search is completely different and outdated.

We would not have ordered 5 entrees if we had known it cost more than advertised on their website. The lady I spoke with refused to refund my money.

We will not be back to this restaurant. The food was not even that great.

My son and I did a pickup supper from Sally’s last night. The General Tsao and Hunan shrimp dinners were fresh, hot, portioned nicely and excellent tasting. The people running the place, that’s located in a gas station, can be seen in the back working hard getting the orders out. Sorta old school in a way. It’s a nice little gem of a place if you like Chinese-American food.

Do NOT set up an account here unless you want to get scammed into signing up for some other ‘trial’ membership like I did. Mine was for a boxing camp that they charged my card $1.00 right away, despite it saying you card will not be charged any.
It is very sneakily done by you having to uncheck a little tiny box at the very end. I know ‘buyers beware’, but I was trying to just order Chinese food for dinner.
Now, despite them sending an email from the boxing site, they provide no way to cancel. What a scam! I will never go to Sally’s Kitchen for food again.
Ps- they got my $60.00 order wrong on top of it, despite repeating myself 3 times to the lady at the counter.

Sally’s Kitchen is an Asian restaurant in the Loaf ‘N Jug convenience store and gas station on S Timberline Road, just off E Harmony Rd, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Orders are taken by phone or at the counter, and diners can eat in the spartan no-frills dining room, or take their food to go.

Sally’s serves authentic Chinese food, and the food is consistently good. The Mongolian Beef, Teriyaki Chicken with vegetables, General Tso’s Chicken, and Fried Rice with ginger and avocado, are outstanding. The chef forgot that chicken is a key ingredient in a recent order of Spicy Garlic Chicken, which was a major disappointment. Otherwise, the food is good.

Where Sally’s Kitchen falls short is in their abysmal and non-existent customer service. I have placed three phone orders for takeout over the last two months. The first order and visit was problem free. The food wasn’t ready at the time promised on my second visit, and the food order took over two hours to prepare the third time I placed a phone order, which is wholly unacceptable.

The person who took the order for my third visit said it would be an hour before the food would be ready. After arriving at Sally’s sixty minutes after placing the order and being told the food wasn’t ready, we were forced to wait another seventy plus minutes before the food was prepared and ready to take home.

Sally’s Kitchen failed to communicate they were overwhelmed and having problems in the kitchen and offered no apologies for the interminable wait. They made no effort whatsoever to make a new customer happy. When I expressed my disappointment to the owner, my comment was met with a shrug.

While the food at Sally’s Kitchen is terrific, the customer service is not, so I cannot recommend that anyone try this place out. I’ll be going elsewhere for Chinese food in Fort Collins.

Place was super friendly. The food gets made in like less than 10 minutes. So it’s like borderline fast food but it’s delicious as you would imagine.
