Known for deep-dish pizza, this casual chain serves other classic Italian food, plus beer & wine.

We wanted to try the new tavern style pizza so we ordered a large extra cheese with sausage, mushroom and onion. God knows I’ve eaten thousands of pizzas from Giordano’s in my lifetime, so was hoping this would be good. One word…disappointing. As you can see from the photos the pizza is burnt and dry. We ate the decent parts and realized there was no extra cheese and very little cheese at all. We did like the crunchy crust. And that was about it. My wife asked if I would try it again and I said no. It was just too dry and burnt. Too bad. There’s a LOT of other tavern style pizza that blows this away. Deep dish? Giordano’s. Tavern style? No.

The pizza was burnt, with little to no cheese on it. It looked very unappealing. This 14” pizza is not a $26 pizza in my opinion (see photos). It arrived late— but that was the DoorDash driver dropping off other orders first or getting lost- so everything was cold. The mozzarella triangles were bland— nothing exciting. The portion of tiramisu to the price was not worth it— that did taste good, but very overpriced for what you get! Overall a very expensive dinner ($60+) of poor quality.
When I called the restaurant when the pizza arrived to discuss the issues, the manager was not able to talk and couldn’t bother to call me back as they said he would. The quality and customer service have declined greatly— with so many other options for pizza or restaurants in general, I will be going elsewhere from now on. Very disappointing of Giordano’s, a place I’ve gone to for many years!
For a place that says they take customer service very seriously, you did not prove it with me, or you would have at least called me back!
Update- after posting review the owner reached out and offered to make things right, but don’t believe it. They did not do anything!!

Went here today with my family…party of 18. We got our own section. Had great service & great pizza. Love this restaurant – haven’t been here in a while. Old school classic pizzeria vibe. Awesome lunch special. I will be back very soon!

This was our first time trying deep dish pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The sauce had that classic marinara taste. It was rich and tangy, so much flavor. The cheese was perfectly balanced, and the crust was just right. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

GIORDANO’S JUST DELIVERED A DYNASTY.
I ordered DA PIZZA — the glorious, cheese-loaded tribute to the Chicago Bears — and let me tell you, this thing hits harder than a cold wind off Lake Michigan. One bite in and I was involuntarily shouting “DA BEARS!” like it was a Super Bowl shuffle replay marathon.
This pizza is THICK. This pizza is PROUD. This pizza is built like it blocks, tackles, and finishes plays. The layers are stacked better than a Bears goal-line stand, and the flavor is so bold it should be wearing shoulder pads.
Eating DA PIZZA honestly felt like Mike Ditka himself would burst through the door, point at my table, and say, “Dat’s how ya do it.”
And let’s be clear — while this pizza is winning championships, the Packers still suck. Some things never change.
Giordano’s didn’t just make a pizza… they made Chicago proud.
DA BEARS. DA PIZZA. DA PACKERS STILL SUCK.

Our server Martin was wonderful paid attention and checked up on the table but not too much that it was a bother. We got there about an hour and a half before closing and we never felt rushed or anything like that. He was very pleasant and polite. The food was perfect and delicious. Other than some toddlers screaming that is no fault of the facility it was a very nice dinner. Will definitely come back soon.

We walked into the restaurant and weren’t greeted by anyone. When the hostess finally appeared she didn’t acknowledge us, look up or make eye contact, when she finally spoke, it was to say follow me. I regret we did….When we sat down the waiter was just as uninviting as the hostess. For a minute I thought we had walked into one of those restaurants where their gimmick is to be rude and inhospitable to customers. The pizza was terrible, the sauce was watered down and the bottom was not fully cooked. Staff were running around finding Parmesan cheese and pepper for several tables. It was a mess! When it came time to pay, the waiter all of sudden became hospitable, and stood over us waiting for us to pay. I am leaving this review with the hope that the management doesn’t ignore it and provides their staff with training. They also should ensure their food at this location is representative of the Giordano’s brand. Lucky for us there are plenty of other Giordano’s around us.

My wife and I unexpectedly found ourselves in Chicago for the day yesterday. We asked around and Giordano’s was suggested for our first taste of Chicago pizza. We were greeted by Stephanie who went out of the way to make our first experience special. We were very unsure of what we should try and she took her time to make sure we got exactly what we had hoped for. The meats and more deep dish was absolutely amazing and so was the cheese bread and garlic fries. We will definitely be back with our children in the future and get another taste of Chicago.

It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. I think the place is a little overhyped for deep dish. It was too bready and the bottom was bathed in oil. When I was leaving with takeout, oil even leaked from the box. I’m not talking like a drip either, I mean like poured out. It got all over my clothes. Still decent deep dish though and easiest to get in Chicago with so many locations.

This was my first time going to this location and it was great! Our service was excellent. Stephanie, our server, was 100% on top of everything. She was so pleasant and nice. And the food was delicious! Great place for a family outing. And to top it all off, they had football playing on the TV!
