Around lunchtime, my wife and I had errands in the Green Hills area.

We had a hankering for Asian cuisine and found Ginza restaurant on Google.

Waitress took the order and was quickly served the most delicious, tasty meal.

Food was 10 outta 10 possible.

Loved the decor/ambiance.

Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoy this restaurant consistently for date night. We always sit sushi side – so I can’t speak for the hibachi. The sushi is always impeccable and we usually have a the same server who is very attentive. I appreciate that they have a gluten-free soy sauce available at the sushi bar without asking.

Takeout does get backed up and the phone is always ringing. I know lots of people complain about wait times, but we’ve never had an issue when seating for dine-in.

Side note: I think they do a lot of business through Uber/Postmates and the drivers can get very very aggressive with staff when orders are delayed. Which is never fun to see and reflects so poorly on delivery apps. However, I do appreciate that the restaurants priority is the dine in guests.

Me and my classmates decided to visit GINZA for lunch for my last day of cosmetology. When I came in I noticed how beautiful the restaurant was! I also noticed how spacious the hibachi area was. There were so many stations, nice and clean too! Our waiter was very nice, she had no issues with handling all 12 of our orders. Everything came out right. Our hibachi cooks were entertaining and our food was delicious. I feel that what I paid was worth the price and I will be back.

While the service was ok but the food was extremely disappointing. The sushi we ordered was just not very good and one was even made incorrectly. They did not add the spicy Sriracha sauce. We I told the waitress she just commented oh ok. The Larmen soup was not good either. The pork was beyond dry and the broth not very appetizing. All of it plus tip was close to $100 so to say we left very disappointed and with a much lighter wallet. Had the food been good it would have been fine.

Sticky table, dirty dining room. The food was cold, chewy and smothered in sauce. The waiter could barely speak English and didn’t know what he was doing. We told him we have a shellfish allergy. We ordered filet mignon hibachi and it came out with shrimp on it, and my bento box had crab in it. When trying to send it back, he was annoyed and brought it back minutes later. I questioned him about if they re-made it, but it seemed likely he just took off the shrimp and brought it back. We barely ate. Bill was over $100. Would never eat here again.

The food was terrible! Meat was overcooked, sushi was dry, broth was disgusting. The only pleasant thing was the manager being for understanding about us not wanting to pay for the overpriced food. Took it off without much hassle. Still paid WAY to much for two dry as sushi platters and a $5 fountain dollar drink.

Salmon teriyaki cooked medium rare.

My husband went to pick up our dinner and the first thing he mentioned when he came back was the guy who took our order and who was at the counter was the nicest guy ever! He said he was so very kind to him. He had printed the $8.00 off coupon and taken it with him as in the coupon it had mentioned that the coupon has to be printed and presented. My husband said he forgot the coupon in the car and was about to run back to the car to get it but the guy wouldn’t let him. He was so impressed with the kindness the gentleman showed him.

First thing I have to say was I was so impressed with the portion size of our food from Ginza. Hehe seeing the amount of food we received, I was so very happy. This place does business with a generous heart.

We started with the shrimp and vegetable tempura and it came with two large shrimp tempura and lots of vegetables. We both enjoyed the tempura appetizer. It was delicious. Next we ate the gyoza which was delicious. Our daughter absolutely loved the gyoza.

Soup and salad was delicious but what impressed was the spicy tuna and salmon and avocado rolls. The ratio to the fish and rice was so perfect. It was packed with flavor. We enjoyed each and every bite.

Moving on to our main course, both the pork tonkatsu and salmon teriyaki portions were so huge. They were both so packed with flavor. We both enjoyed each and every bite.

We really enjoyed our dinner takeout experience from Ginza. The food portion was generous and delicious. What made me happier was the kindness shown to my husband by the gentleman at the restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Our experience at Ginza Japanese Hibachi was incredibly disappointing. We informed them of a shrimp allergy in advance, and they assured us the meal would be cooked in the back to avoid cross-contamination. Instead, they simply didn’t cook anything and completely forgot the meal altogether.

The service was chaotic and unprofessional. They kept forgetting items we ordered, double-charged us, and seemed overwhelmed the entire time. On top of that, we were in a rush, and their disorganization only made things worse.

This place was messy, unaccommodating, and overall a terrible experience. We won’t be coming back.
