Very disappointed our chicken avocado salad literally only had chicken on half of the sandwich. When we approach the manager she kept giving us some random excuse and then finally the cook gave us another piece of chicken for a sandwich. The customer service management is not very good at all. I ordered a teriyaki charburger well done and it was still pink in the middle. Very disappointed in this establishment as well as the customer service

The staff was so friendly when we walked in we werent ready to order and they gave us a few minutes to decide food was, flavorful and best yet not greasy loved it!

Was craving burgers last night but don’t like driving after dark so we DoorDash’d our dinner. The Santa Barbara burger and the Bacon cheeseburger were very good. A little pricey-almost $40 for 2 burgers and 1 fry but good quality. The order wasn’t ready when the driver got there though. This location seems to have problems with speed of service

It looks like the guest get done eating and get rid of their trash but nobody ever comes by and wipes down and sanitizes the tables. Every empty table was dirty even though there were no items on the tables. I had to grab someone’s attention to get the cup that they told me to get at the counter. It looks like they’re running a skeleton crew. This is a management problem. I hope it gets better because habit Burger is good normally and this is not the way it should be.

It’s a great place and like Habit, I too was “Established” in Santa Barbara in 1969, so that’s cool! They grill their buns which causes them to be fairly dry, but not in a good crunchy on the edges, soft in the center grilled way, maybe that location is doing it incorrectly. Some may like that, but I don’t. This has been the situation all 4 times I’ve ever been there so I think that’s by design. So if you like your buns that way, it’s great. If you don’t, 5 Guys is right across the street. So I’m not trashing Habit, I just don’t like my buns dry. It’s the kind of place I want to love, but I don’t.

By far, the best Habit restaurant I’ve been to. I have been to the Turlock and Atwater location and their food as well as their customer service is horrible. The Merced staff are AMAZING. They are patient, kind and fix any mistakes on your order. Ibet is sooooo sweet! She’s always kind and welcoming.

Ordered our food, had a seat while we waited for our food. Had my separate order come up first. Then our family lunch page came in although they apologized for the error as they said our order was not ready yet.
They ended up bringing our order to us and gave us a milk shake to make amends.
Very thoughtful and appreciated.
Everything came out hot and fresh.

Everytime I come here it’s always the same two people working. One in the kitchen and the other handling drive thru orders, fries, and in-store orders. Food always takes way too long to come out due to being understaffed and orders are messed up. Would happily increase my rating if they had at least one more person working in the store.
