Came here for the first time with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day weekend; came on the Sunday after. Ordered a couple drinks, Ceviche, split the ribeye and got the Parker House Rolls, Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini. Then we got the chocolate cake for dessert and had to wait because they had to make more but it was totally worth the wait. We also had a couple of the espresso martinis.
Our server was amazing and very friendly. If you’re looking for a for time, great atmosphere and excellent food, then look no further than Gin Gin’s. Can’t wait to comeback!

First time here and was impressed. Upon arrival for our reservation they sat us almost instantly even though there was a wait at the door. This was incredible. Service was prompt and continued all the way through dinner. We had 4 in our party and ordered 4 full meals and appetizer, drinks. Everything we ordered came out hot, fast and tasted very good. Noise was pretty loud as we were seated directly behind host booth and directly next to the bar. At times it was very loud. On occasion when the door opened you received a cold breeze that gives a chill at our location of seating. Overall pretty good place and recommend going at least once to see if its something you like.

Ate at Gin Gin’s today and let me just say… I was NOT prepared for how good everything was. We ordered the Delmonico steak (perfect medium), steak tartare, Parker House rolls, Wedge salad, and oysters — and whew, somebody in that kitchen loves the people because every bite was .
The oysters were so fresh they basically introduced themselves. The Parker House rolls were soft, buttery clouds of happiness. The steak tartare? Fancy, flavorful, and fabulous. And that Delmonico had just the right weight to it… upscale, hearty, and cooked exactly how I asked. Chef understood the assignment. Period.
Now let’s talk about our server Collin (really the bartender) FULL of personality, attentive, fun, and made the whole experience even better. We love good food, but we LOVE good service, and he delivered both with a smile and great energy.
They have amazing dessert options, but listen… we were already in a food coma and had to tap out (which just means we’ll be back, because priorities).
If you’re thinking about going — GO. And if there’s a wait, get on the list, stretch a little, say a prayer, and prepare your taste buds for joy. Gin Gin’s understood the mission and exceeded expectations. ️✨

My sister and I made reservations here to celebrate her birthday and we were sat right away with a place card showing we were celebrating a birthday which was a great touch!
Our waiter gave us a quick rundown of the menu and some of his personal recommendations.
Our drinks and food both came out quickly after we ordered them and everything was delicious. You can tell that everything was local or scratch made too!
The service was stellar, the drinks were balanced and refreshing, and our food was the top quality I would have expected. I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Gin Gin’s is truly exceptional! The food is flavorful, beautifully presented, and made with care. What impressed me even more was the staff’s thoughtfulness—the host surprised me with a custom piano postcard birthday card, and my waitress, Voilet, added a heartfelt birthday wish that made the evening unforgettable. Their warmth and attention to detail turned a great meal into a cherished memory. Highly recommend!

I had the seared sea scallops with risotto. It was a little salty, but still tasty and beautifully plated. My husband went for the ribeye steak with a side of mac and cheese—both were a hit!
The ambience was dim-lit with a strong focus on the bar. It felt cozy and upscale, but it did get pretty loud inside, especially at our larger table of seven. During our dinner, they dimmed the lights even more—so much so that everyone at our table commented on how dark it suddenly got. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you’re hoping for a quieter or brighter dining experience.
Service was great, drinks were solid, and overall we enjoyed the night. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in town!

Summer
My boyfriend and I had the best valentines dinner with you guys. All of the hostesses and servers were so friendly. We mentioned it being an early valentines date at the host stand and by the time we got to our table from there we had a little hand written valentines note. Another hostess caught me taking pictures of our drinks and then took photos of the both of us. Such a welcoming environment and those small gestures really made a huge difference on the experience. Our food was absolutely amazing and our server was also super familiar with the menu offering up suggestions and personal favorites. Definitely found a new favorite spot.

This place is absolutely magic . We drove 2 hours for a weekend trip for our Anniversary and it was sooo worth it. The food was incredible. The staff was so sweet to us! We got complimentary Prosecco for our anniversary and it really made our day!!! It felt like we were in a hallmark movie. Also the steak and pasta is NEXT LEVEL. I will be dreaming of my steak for a very long time! Can’t wait to visit again

Cannot say enough good things about Gin Gins. We moved to GR two years ago from Chicago, and Gin Gins is the only spot in GR that feels like you’re back in Chicago / NYC. We started with crab cakes and steak tartare. Both were excellent. Cocktails were spot on. I had scallops with risotto for my meal. The risotto was quite salty, but the scallops were perfect. When they learned my risotto was too salty they put a credit towards our bill. The asparagus with whipped feta was super delicious. The service was superb. One of our cocktails took a bit to come out and our server let us know they weren’t going to charge us for it. We didn’t even notice and never had to ask. Overall, an excellent experience. I can’t wait to go back!
